According to the Wiki, "Rosettes seem to be the most popular marking on Lioden currently, due to the mysterious nature of how they're passed on, and the fact that they can randomly pop up in any breeding. There are tons of user theories and conspiracies floating around regarding how Rosette works, but nobody truly knows—the code has yet to be cracked." I do. Every. Single. Father. Has. At. Least. One. Feline. Marking. See it? Maybe parents with Feline markings produce rosettes, but it's rare. This isn't really connected to "cracking the rosette code," but I thought it'd be interesting to mention that ebony heavy rosette seems to pass fairly frequently (either that or I've just had incredible luck). So far I've had three cubs born from three different sires and two dams that inherited the ehr marking directly from the sire (in slots 9 and 10). 0 players like this post! Like? |

This is my cub. Ginger rosette (And yes she is a ferus and Cloudburst fail) These are the specifics of the parents, none have rosette. I don't know if my cub's grandmother was a factor or not, she has Ebony Soft Rosette. She has doubloon heavy rosette. Neither parent carries rosette, but her father has feline marks. I have other lionesses with rosettes whose parent's do not have feline marks but do have rosettes, so maybe it passes based on the presence of rosettes + the presence of feline markings? 0 players like this post!
