I was looking at some images of statues of lions, and I came across this guy:



Here's another example made I think by the same artist, but in a different pose:


I love how this mane curls, it reminds me of the sea :) unfortunately I'm not as artist so I can put this idea on a model just yet. But in principle, this could look quite beautiful on a lion.

Possible names are Flow mane, Sea mane, Breeze mane, let me know what you think!
