"Sorry to say this, but you won't be human for long." As she spoke, she moved herself to sit down on the lower branch, tail slowly swinging.

He trailed off, turning towards the woods as he reached up to scratch his shoulder, the skin flaking off. He scowled, turning to look before looking back at the woods when someone came out, his eyes widening when he saw who it was.

Hearing voices, he just happened to make it to hear the girl say they'd end up like her soon enough. He took a long look at her, seeing the feline characteristics. Ridge shook his head. "They're going to make us wear cat costumes around?" he asked the woman, his deep voice laced with humor. So far, he thought this was only a joke. How could a shot relate to them dressing in costumes?

He was quickly shut up and all humor was out aside when the person next to him began peeling off skin. Soon, scales were revealed and he jumped back in shock. Things were becoming easier and easier to believe. The catwoman had just came out of the tree with cat-like poise, and some guy was turning into a scaly monster.

Ava took a step back as her brother turned to try and see what was going on with his shoulders, but he couldn't really see, so he just looked at his sister for an explanation. She moved closer to him, saying quietly, "You have scales on your shoulders." Denzel's eyes widened, and he tried to look again, but Ava grabbed his arm, forcing his attention back to the woman in front of them; she knew that if he wasn't going to pay attention now she'd have to explain later, so she was going to do her best to get him to listen.

She gave a yawn, revealing sharp teeth. Her ears were pinned back as she yawned, though they became pricked again as she finished. She ended up leaning against a tree, looking at them. "Let's play the guessing game. I'd say canine for the lady that's barking, and lizard for mister dead skin peeler."

"And I guess I would be the leader. I'd cool your jets and try to fall asleep so you don't have to deal with the more painful parts of the transformation, or you can just wait."

Blaire chuffed in spite of herself. "I'd guess so too," she said. She looked around at the others. She could see them changing into various cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, and even ungulates. Confusion overcame her. "What is this, though?" She whined.

Denzel tried again to look at his shoulders before giving up. When the woman mentioned lizard for him he frowned, glancing over at the other woman who had pretty much been barking earlier before looking at his sister. Ava wasn't showing outward signs of any sort of transformation, which made him feel a bit better about the situation, maybe she would be unaffected by whatever this was.

Athanasia raised an eyebrow as she listened to the woman speak. She was strangely cheerful. Nevertheless, she quickly took the pen and paper, taking a few moments to read the questions before filling everything out. She placed the pen and paper on the desk, as she had been instructed, then moved on to the next room. Expecting someone to already be there, she poked her head inside and glanced around. "Hello?"

"Don't know, was never told. I'd guess an experiment. Though I'd consider my luck if I were you- couple dozen people died during the transformation because they managed to get me right." She looked rather calm, relaxed. "But with the way they packed you in, I suspect more will be coming in."

She stretched, and yawned again.

"But you guys go have fun while you can, or go get the sleeping situation figured out, I'll probably do whatever."

And the old man slammed the door and mumbled something under his breath. "You. Sit down." He quickly grabbed a needle and another wipe, and didn't wait for her to comply before wiping and giving the shot.

"Next room, go, bye!" He said, shoving her towards the door.
