Athanasia Laveska // Opossum

Athanasia inhaled sharply, calming herself down. She walked back out into the entertainment room, soon spotting the boy that had tried to speak to her before she had run off screaming. He also had animal traits, and it seemed like his features were meant to resemble a fox. Athanasia, however, had no idea what she was supposed to be. She looked slightly like a rat, but...not? Trying her best to stay calm in this weird situation, she settled down on the couch, besides the fox guy. "Do you have any idea what I'm supposed to be?" She asked him, hoping that he'd be able to figure this thing out. She still didn't know why the scientists were giving them animal traits, but she doubted that he knew the answer. She was probably another volunteer, just like her.

Bo Smith |Male|Fox

"You have a rats tail so maybe you are some messed up rat?" Bo said chuckling a little. " The cat girl outside said some volunteers died from taking the medication and some didn't. So maybe you are some mixed species like the medicine didn't work out?" Bo said trying not to make her appearance sound bad. "But hey guess what, now you don't have to decide on what to be for Halloween." Bo got a kick out of himself hoping she would to. He tried lighting up the mood.

Athanasia Laveska // Opossum

Athanasia paled slightly when she heard what the boy had to say. Some people had died? Why had these scientists continued with the experiment if it had killed people? She shuddered slightly and looked back down at her claw-like nails. She was disturbed by what was happening, but the joke that the other volunteer made did manage to make her laugh. Her eyes flicked up to meet his, a smile on her face. "I'm Athanasia Laveska, but you can call me Atha. Who are you?" If she was going to be stuck in here with a bunch of other freaks, she should at least make some friends.

Her ears perked at the scream, before her attention was brought to someone who asked for her name. "Nakita Whitson. You?" She asked, holding out her hand for a handshake.

Reed picked up a salad off the cart and munched, watching the others out of fear and curiosity. Blaire also found some food, a ham sandwich.

He took a bite of whatever he had grabbed while he waited for a response from her, chewing and swallowing before he accepted her handshake, "Denzel Axter, and this one," he nodded his head towards Ava, who was still clinging to him like a burr, "Is Avalynn, she's my sister." He looked at her again, tilting his head curiously, "Are you.... part house cat? Is it okay if I ask that? Don't exactly know the proper etiquette for this sort of situation..."

Bo Smith |Male|Fox

Bo saw how pale that girl got when he told her people have died. He took mental note of that and looked at the girl when she chuckled. Bo felt some warmth inside of him knowing he could make someone laugh. Bo looked over to the girl and saw how different she was from the rest of the volunteers. He met her deep brown eyes and got lost in them. The girl said he could call her Atha. Still staring into her eyes Bo said, "I'm Bo, Bo Smith."

Athanasia's smile widened when the boy introduced himself, revealing her now-sharp canines. "Nice to meet you, Bo." She said silkily, moving her eyes away from his and over to the door that led outside. "Well, I was one of the last people to arrive, and I haven't really had the chance to explore yet, so I'd like to go see what's out there." She explained, getting up from her spot on the couch and turning her head back to look at Bo, her hands placed on her hips. "You wanna join me?" She tiled her head to the right at the end of her question, her ears pricked up inquisitively as she waited for his response.

Bo kept his gaze on Atha while she looked towards the door. When she looked back he directed his eyes away trying not to look creepy. He smiled though when she stood with her hand on her hips and her head tilted. Bo stood up and said "Yeah I can join you!" He went over to the door and held it open until Atha walked through. His tail was in a slight downward position. Bo hadn't fully learned how to control it.

Although she pretended not to notice, Athanasia did see that Bo had been looking at her, and she glanced down at the ground, a light blush appearing on her cheeks. However, she quickly recovered and made her way towards the door, giving Bo a small nod as she walked past him. "Thank you," She said politely before turning her gaze to the scenery in front of her. She was surprised to see that it was actually quite serene here, and the sight of all the greenery was refreshing. "Ooh, they have a pond!" She suddenly said, her tone oddly cheerful. She started walking towards the water, only glancing back for a moment to check if Bo was following.

(I hope it doesn't seem like I'm doing too much 1x1, I just wanted to get a post in before I go to bed.)

His eyes fluttered open, his vision was haze as he had just awoken. He felt weak and tired, but none the less he was determined to get out of bed. When he tried to lift himself up from his resting position, pain had jolted through his arm making him fall back down. There had been minor pain in his upper arm from when he got injected a recently. They had told him to lay down due to how the vaccination affected him. It had left him dizzy and nearly unconscious at the time, but he felt more better after the brief nap. He felt much different, and noticed he was a completely different color and had feathers and wings. Huh?! he thought to himself, a bit alarmed at the new transformation. Maybe this is just a dream.. he thought to himself. He had managed to get out the bed and began to walk out of the room and into a room that seemed to have commotion going on. There had been many people in the room, some had looked very peculiar, he had no right to say weird since he himself was different as well. He didn't know what was going on but noticed everyone chatting amongst themselves. Karasu didn't involve himself in chatting and much rather prefer to be quiet and observe from afar. So he had decided to sit on the couch with his hands in his lap as his ears twitched and rotated as he heard everyone speak.
