⛎ Z O D I A C ⛎ Sign Ups ⛎ Character Sheets ⛎ Information ⛎ Role Play In the beginning there were thirteen zodiacs -Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Leo, Cancer, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces, and Ophiuchus - that watched over earth, dividing their time into thirteen different months in which they made sure that the inhabitants fared well and didn't have to fear the threat of powerful beings outside of their world. Everything was well until Ophiuchus decided that they wished to have more power and attempted to fight the others one by one. The others quickly caught on and turned against their former comrade, banishing them to the darkest reaches of space where they wouldn't pose a threat to the zodiac's rule. Centuries passed and Ophiuchus was all but forgotten, the months having been adjusted so that there were only twelve, and a time of great peace settled over the land. ⛎ C E N S U S ⛎

Ratita Presumida hadn't thrown them in the dungeons...yet. But you didn't get to be the ruler of an island such as Antilla by being kind-hearted or trusting strangers. Capricorn made a choice then. They were alone, with no allies. Their temples had long ago crumbled and slowly all memory of the wardens of the sky had faded into the mists of time. They needed...help, but so did the earthfolk. For the snake bearer would not stop at the destruction of the Zodiacs. Chaos was in his nature, as order was in Capricorn's. He needed to make Ratita understand that not only their lives were at stake, but everyones, from the strongest warrior to the smallest child. Capricorn's tall, almost gaunt figure detached itself from the group and limped forward, stopping only when the guards barred his way. Ignoring the glowering gaze of the cocas, he locked eyes with Ratita. His voice was ice, hard and cold. It was the voice of a man that would rather break than give in. It shattered the silence that filled the room. "This is no time for half truths. War is coming. And it will sweep across the land and destroy everything in its path unless we stop it. Not even your island will be sheltered from the storm." "Once there ruled thirteen Zodiacs from above, watching and tending earth with care. But a sickness grew in the thirteen's heart. Jealousy. Greed. Hate. It corrupted his soul. In an attempt to gain more power he started a war that threatened to destroy all. The twelve emerged victorious. Having banished the snake bearer to the darkest reaches of the sky they all but forgot about him. But the darkness became his alley, instead of his prison. It nurtured him and his strength grew. What came next was no war. It was a massacre. One by one we fell until only the ten points of Ophiuchus crowned the sky. " "I am Capricorn, Sentry and the first Zodiac." He had tried to deliver his speech with as much confidence as he could muster. But words are wind and one only need to look at the twelve to know that these were fallen gods.
