It would be neat if lions began to appear more boney as their hunger increased. Pretty soon their ribs would be poking through until their just skin and bones, maybe laying down. Hunting and patrol results would be less likely if they are significantly hungry. The same general ailments starving lions irl would have to face, on lioden! It wouldn't need drastic changes to the base lineart. Shaded a little differently and the default lions could begin appearing as hungry as they are. It could also be an add on like cub stages, we'd only have to pay around maybe 5 - 10 GB for it as an interesting set of game art for our lion :) Just a cool idea i had :) I know I'm not the only one who would find this to be a really cool perk to the game, but if you don't support, please do tell why :) |

I agree that this is a good idea. Lions should be more affected by hunger and in turn, affect gameplay, making it more of a point to keep everyone in your pride well fed. Maybe the stages should start at 60% and progress at every 10-15%? Also the admins wouldn't have to make new artwork entirely for this, they could just use the emaciated scar and add to it a bit for every stage. 1 player likes this post! Like? I like the idea of this, but it could take a long time if they were to make new artwork for this. I agree with the person above who suggested that the art could just use the emaciated scar, and maybe a slight change in facial expression. 1 player likes this post! Like? |

If this were accepted and implemented as a free change in decor (like rising water in the june event) then yes the emaciated scar would be the best choice. If it were to cost GB, I think it would be a lower priority with new artwork. But I don't think it would make much sense to pay GB for a scar you can get for cheap at an event or trade. 1 player likes this post! Like? |

I actually think it should be an overlay, similar to aging. As your lion gets hungrier, the ribs become more prominent, the face gets a bit more gaunt. It doesn't require a lot of work, nor does it require any extra cost like the aging wrinkles! 0 players like this post! Like? |

IS that sarcasm? Lol even if it might not be the most aesthetic thing in the world, it would bring an element of realism and more aspects to the game to think about before rollover. That patrols and hunts would be affected is the main root of this discussion, the appearance of starving is just the icing on the cake. 0 players like this post! Like? |

A nice idea in theory, but I think the gameplay aspect would ultimately end up being a punishment for people who just don't have enough time to be on to do enough hunts. There's already enough people that complain about all of their lions running away because of not having enough food. 0 players like this post! Like? I think this would be a cool new feature and I agree with weallscreamforicecre am98 (#91513). It should be that scar it's would be aslo easier to make. 0 players like this post! Like? |
