Forgive me if this has already been made a suggestion. I just had a thought that I figured I'd share as an idea. While I was securing a lioness in my den since I didn't want to make the mistake of accidentally sending her away in the future, I thought that maybe some sort of 'undo' button would help if that ever did happen? So, say, you have a pretty NCL you found in explore. And if you're like me, you have a lot of NCLs to sort through and in either chasing them off or sending them to the reserve you accidentally do the same to that pretty NCL you found and you don't realize it until she's already gone. You wish you could have her back right? Well maybe if there was an undo button that appeared on the page after chasing, you can get her back no problem. Something like "This lioness has left your territory. Undo?" appears on the page after she's been chased or sent away. And upon clicking that, the action of chasing her away or sending her to the reserve will be undone and she will reappear in your den. Maybe to add, there can be a 10 SB fee or something to undo. I don't think the price, if any, should be too high since there are some players that don't have much SB, especially newbies. This would also be a one-chance-only thing, so if you click out of or refresh the page, the undo button disappears and you can't get your lion back. This can work for chased males and younger lions too, the lioness was just an example. I've not ever actually done this mistake, but I have come close just recently and almost sent out an NCL that had Mint eyes and I wanted to keep her. I just thought maybe it'd help a lot of people that do make this mistake and wish they hadn't. Suggestions to add to this are welcome! Opinions too. And if you don't support, it'd be appreciated if you stated why. |

No support. Half of the lionesses are deleted when chased. About half end up in explore as chased girls for people to claim. All male lions are deleted when chased. If this was implemented the coders would need to code much more and create new databanks for 'accidentally chased but then undoed lions'. They would need to save the males too and that means _a lot_ of new data running around = the server will slow down. If you are afraid of chasing good NCL, name and move her to another cave when you get her. And protect. There is options to keep your lions and not to accidentally chase/kill/send to nature. If you really like lion, take the little second to press her and move to another cave away from others. That's my way of not accidentally doing anything. And it has worked for 1,5 years now. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 26/06/17 @ 01:18:43 by The Doctor [Tigery Primal] (#73075) |

To add on to what The Doctor said, there is also a "Secure" button you could press at the bottom of the page to prevent accidents like this 0 players like this post! Like? |

I knew of the secure button long before this and while it's true it's there, I can't imagine there not being some people who forget to secure their lion. Still, I didn't put the coding into consideration. My bad. But I guess there was no harm in suggesting right? This is the second time an idea of mine has backfired on me and all I'd like to do is fit in here on Lioden, but I guess that time hasn't yet arrived. Eh. Oh well. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Hey... you do not need to make a suggestion that many people approve, in order to fit in. You have lions, you play the game, etc etc that's well enough to fit in my opinion. I have extremely few/none friends here (one person friended me and the rest is my mom and my other account lol) but that doesn't mean anything. I hope you can find other ways to feel welcome here... 0 players like this post! Like? |

Or at the very least if they won't make the Undo button, make an "Are you sure you want to chase this Lion" button, similar to the "Are you sure you want to Transfer these Items" button in the Transfers section it would at least slow you down and check to make sure you actually want to send the lion away. I bring this up because there's the Claim 50 lionesses quest this month. because of the cool down period before chasing, some just let the new claims build up in unsorted before looking at them if they have to make room. I know I do that. Then, when they finally get around to sorting them to see who they want to keep and who they want to chase, we go on auto pilot sometimes and accidentally chase girls we want to keep. It happened to me today. It was the first Pretty NCL I'd ever gotten and I was sorting through my claims and accidentally hit chase. Very frustrating 0 players like this post! Like? Honestly- just get into the habit of securing every lion you want to keep. I do this with every chased I claim as soon as they’re in my den. Every other lion in my pride that I care about is secured. There’s already a confirmation prompt for chasing/killing/nature reserving, and you’d have to move all your NCLs to a different cave from unsorted in order to mass chase (which also has a confirmation prompt). There are more than enough checks in place for this already, imo? And like @Paipa said, this doesn’t work with how LD currently handles removing lions from your pride. 0 players like this post! Seems like either something you should post in the bug board about- or check your browser settings to make sure you don't have popups disabled 0 players like this post! Like? |
