"Exhausted and close to death, the opponent uses their last ounce of strength to flee the battle, leaving you victorious." This flavour text works for neutral karma kings, and probably even good karma at a stretch. But wouldn't an evil lion be more likely to kill their opponent outright, rather than letting them go? And along those lines, wouldn't an evil king try to track down something that beat them and have another go at killing them, while a good king admits defeat? I'm suggesting a small adjustment to this text- if your karma is at a level high or low enough to change your eyes in explore, it will also change the flavour text that you get after a battle. __ Examples: Good karma victory: "Your opponent weak, beaten and close to death, they cower in fear, and seem to beg for mercy. You spare their life and continue on your way." Good karma loss: "Your opponent has proved stronger than you. As they respect you, and may have heard of your good nature, they spare your life. You are thankful." Evil karma victory: "You end your opponent's pathetic life without a thought, and leave their body for the vultures. You refuse to feed your pride on the meat of cowards." Evil karma loss: "This ridiculous, pathetic creature has somehow managed to defeat you! You flee, vowing to find it again and take your revenge." __ What do you think? Leave your opinions and feedback so I can improve the suggestion! |

Yes!! I fully support this haha. It makes sense that a bad karma lion wouldn't let his victim live to see another day. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I support the change though truth be told, a lion defeated in combat is usually killed. The winner typically takes over the pride and, often times, will kill all the previous males cubs in an effort to ensure his own generation's survival. Good & Evil are only traits understood by mankind. For animals, it's Darwin's Theory that only the strong survive. 0 players like this post! Like? |

That might be true if you're fighting a lion, but what if it's a random giraffe or something? 0 players like this post! Like? |

I think this is a good idea! I support. Personally, I can see these texts being used for other lions and animals from another species. 0 players like this post! Like? |

i like this idea, though the good texts should be changed to something that would work for all opponents. a human knowing of a lion's good nature, for example, is a little weird. maybe there could be different texts for different enemies or one that fits all enemies. 0 players like this post! I think it'd be easier to just have a general flavour text than to have custom ones for each different opponent, but I'll edit it to change that particular weirdness. Besides, if you're that nice of a lion, it would probably be popping up in local folklore by then. 0 players like this post! Like?
