I'm not too sure about it. I think that mods would have a hard time dealing with forms of harassment, and things like that, if an offending user could simply delete their message. I don't support, but I might change my mind in the future.

I think the lack of an ability to delete chats is intentional. Mods need to be able to see every chat, to monitor everything that's happening. I understand that it's frustrating to post in the wrong chat, but it's a pretty minimal inconvenience and it's for the greater good imo that chats cannot be deleted.

Hmm but doesn't it making the message invisible just for us do nothing, really?
I think it would be better, for this purpose, to have the ability to move the message between chats! The message will still be there to avoid removing spamming or harassment, but it gives you the chance to fix a mispost.

I'm on the fence, because while it would be useful for well-meaning people who just posted on the wrong chat, it might open the way to people who are less well-meaning to harrass other players scot-free because they can delete their message and no proof remains. Maybe if mods could still see the messages that were deleted? Like, the message would be hidden from regular players but mods can see it with some sort of "message deleted by player" label?
Idk, I tend to overthink stuff probably, but it's better safe than sorry I think ^^"
