Rules
- No god-modding. Period. You will be warned only once before being banned from the channel.

- Hate the character, not the player. If you have a feud with someone, please take it to PM's. - There will be no gary-sues or mary-sues allowed. Your character cannot be all-powerful. They must have weaknesses.

- This is a semi-lit to advanced RP. That means you must write at least one paragraph with each post. I understand writer's block, but I will not tolerate one-line replies or continuously short ones.

- You also must have proper grammar. That means I must understand what you write. No text-talk allowed. I can forgive typos, but constant ones will be called out.

- Please PM me if you're going to be on a hiatus. If your character doesn't reply within two days, they will be moved to a list, a week without a reply will result in you getting banned.

- A maximum of two characters is allowed, and only one will be able to join the main group. This is to ensure that everyone has a chance to get the rank they want.

- Be courteous! If I see you being rude to another I will PM you.

- If you have any questions or concerns, PM me or Ember and we will try to answer you as best as we can.

The Eirian Race
They came from beyond the stars, only ten years after the plague destroyed most of the human race, and claimed the wasteland of Earth as their own. A reptilian like species with distinctly humanoid features, the Eirians faced the disease that had ravaged the land with superior technology, curing it easily. After scouting the world to assess the situation, the Eirians began to build large cities, the first to go up were the capitals; Regeren and Sahalia. At first, few aliens actually made their homes on the newest acquisition, choosing to remain high in the sky, living on the tranquil spaceship that they called home. Until the royal family took it upon themselves to head down, erecting a massive palace in the capital of Regeren. They were met with hostility by the remaining humans, but strength and numbers quickly quelled the rebellious creatures. The humans were given a choice; either stay and serve the royals, or go out and face the new wilds of earth alone. Some jumped at the chance for a comfortable lifestyle, sacrificing their freedom in the process, but the more hardheaded ones opted to face the wild head on, refusing to bend to the will of the Eirians. Now, nearly eleven years later, the Eirian race is thriving in the once barren wastelands, creating a new life on Earth.

Features & Culture
The Eirian race is a reptilian like species with distinctly humanoid features. Their faces bare a close resemblance to humans, if it weren't for their heavy brows and scaly skin, it would be almost impossible to tell them apart from homo sapiens. Hard bones form horns that grow out from their foreheads and go backwards and up, blocking the tops of their skulls. The number of horns depend on the Eirian, varying from two to four, and sometimes an odd number of five. Smaller, sharper horns adorn their jawlines, and can either be obviously present or almost nonexistent. Their ears taper to a point, and are usually decorated with flashy objects, such as earrings made of rare metals. The flashier the clothing and jewelry, the higher the rank. Eirians bedeck their faces with a sort of war paint, different symbols mean different things. A lower-ranking Eirian will have simple markings, such as two lines going down one side of their face, branding them as a worker. Pictured above is a member of the royal family, with a more intricate paint. Yellow is the color of the royals, and anyone that wears it must be a part of royalty.

The average lifespan on an Eirian is roughly 150 years on Earth. If they were on their home planet, the species could easily reach 200, with 210 being the oldest ever recorded.
Because of their longer lifespan, an Eirian male is considered an adult at 20 years of age, with females maturing much later on (usually at 23).
Marriage is considered normal when a male matures.

Human Group
The survivors of the plague, most are immune or have yet to catch the disease, these humans have formed random groups to live in the wilds. They scrape by, barely, using whatever they can find on the outskirts of the Eirian capitals. This RP will focus on the largest of them, so I will only go into detail regarding this group.
After the Eirians allowed the release of the rebels that chose freedom, some of the more foolish of them struck out on their own, ultimately dying or finally joining a different tribe. The smarter ones stayed behind, setting up a base camp about fifteen miles away from the Regeren walls, ambushing small caravans and stealing from farms that have taken up residence on the outside of the capital. It wasn't enough to get noticed, just a crate of food here and there, some clothes, and needed supplies. Because they decided to lay low, they managed to survive for years, ten to be exact. But a new leader has been pushing the restrictions, training their people in stealth and hand-to-hand combat, so that they can sneak into the city and hit the Eirians where it hurts the most. The palace is the newest target, where they know that food is plentiful and supplies are endless. But will they manage it?

Plot!
It has been 20 years since Oncomia struck, and ten since the Eirians came to Earth. A small, rag-tag band of humans has been making life generally hard for the royal family. Unbeknownst to the human group, a plan has been set in motion. The next time they decide to sneak into the palace, guards will capture them, or die trying. After the unfortunate incident, the King will force the leader of the group to become his personal servant, lest her people die. Some refuse, earning the loss of their lives, and seeing no other way out, the leader agrees on one condition; that he keep her people safe. The king agrees. Can they plan their escape without getting caught, or will she be able to change the mind of the Eirian leader beforehand?
