I'm still fairly new to the game, but I fell in love with the cherry blossom base and acquired a male that had it. I looked at the prices for other cherry based studs and they're pretty expensive, but they also have more markings, and more that are rare. Sar only has 5 total, which I know isn't very favorable, nor are his stats particularly high (706 and counting), but I could add more markings if he really needed it. All in all, if I were to open him up for studding, what would be an appropriate price range? I thought 300SB or 1GB sounded fair because of his rare base, but his lack of markings is hurting him. Is he even worth studding? I'd greatly appreciate any input from the experienced players. I priced mine at 450 sb/2 GB and he's somewhat similar to yours stat and marking wise ^^ you could definitely set his price around the 3-400 range and still make a good profit. From what I've seen, more marking isn't always more favorable as long as the lesser marked stud looks nicer. Since your boy has a passable mutation, a desirable + rare base and mane, and some rare marks, you're looking pretty good stud wise :D 0 players like this post! Like? |

Good to see other cherry fans! If only there was green in the game to make him into a rainbow, but I'll wait patiently until Xylax feels comfortable with releasing something. :D Arsa looks awesome! I hope to get my own Smilus some day--the lineart is just too good. And it makes me happy to know that Sar stands a chance on here. I'd say price him at 300sb. He's very pretty, but I recommend giving him a dark marking to pull the look together. Maybe cheetah or a feline from the gorilla? He looks great! :) 0 players like this post! Like? |
