So, i was just thinking. What if lethals could grow, but had a small chance of doing so? Like animals in real life, some odd/deformed critters can live (albeit, not very long, but still.) Like, just so users don't lose their mutie, there should be a slight difference in the birth message, like this; *although it may be deformed, this cub looks like it will live, you feel oddly relieved.* however, there are some muties that just CANT grow. growables: two heads (lives until 12 years; can become king, patrol and hunt; smarts advantage and bite does 2× damage.) multiple limbs (lives until 8 years; can become king and patrol/hunt, but energy goes quickly, 4-7 energy loss instead of 1-3, and only has 4 hunts. Also cannot fight npcs in explore.) lipomatosis (lives until 9 years; cannot hunt, patrol or become king) sirenomelia (regular lioden death age; cannot hunt, patrol or become king) certain death: conjoined cyclopia of course, lethals growing would be extremely rare; a once-in-a-bluemoon chance! they almost always die and are hard to get in general. As for breeding, they have a high chance of producing mutations, but have longer cooldowns, and more chance at marking, base and eye-color fails. males are often infertile, too. And females cannot pass their mutation via lion scrotum. if a grown-lethal produces a lethal cub of the same mutation, there is a cute little addon to the message saying *"(cub's gender) looks like me...."*. Thanks for your support! |

Oof, the only reason I don't support is because i doubt it would be used often in game. Even if the message stated they would live, I'm sure people would still prefer to freeze them. Not to mention the fact that the people who already have those muties in game would kinda be put down, just because they got certain muties before this update was "implemented." It's definitely a cool idea, don't get me wrong, but it's hard enough to breed a lethal as it is. Letting them live to grow up doesn't seem like a beneficial thing to me. I'm definitely on the fence for this one!! If people have reasons to support I might change my mind, but for right now, I don't think I'll offer my support <3 0 players like this post! Like? |

Im also on the fence with this one Two heads, its possible for animals that aren't mammals, like reptiles, but for lions its not something that happens, Multiple limbs, mammals that grow with multiple limbs have their nutrient drain from them to support to extra limbs so for a child that would strip them from most of the nutrients, unless they were provided with extra care from outside help (humans) they probs wouldnt make it, Lipomatosis, I think this one might be possible, but i dont know enough about the condition to say whether it can survive to adulthood, Sirenomelia, the lion would have trouble walking, hunting, everything, peeing etc, it would starve, wouldnt be active, struggle to survive yada yada, and i doubt irl if a lion had one of these conditions they would be chosen to mate with I dont think i'll support 0 players like this post! but, two-headed cats exist, like, this one https://fshoke.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/two_headed_cat.jpg http://hypescience.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/animais-duas-cabecas-1.jpg 0 players like this post! Like? |

Those are raised domestic in the wild it's highly doubtful they'd survive. A lot of mutations survive due to human intervention. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Yes but, one thing we gotta remember is lioden isn't hyper-realistic; i doubt real lions come in pink, blue and green. but yes, in real life, they need humans to survive, but lioden is a fantasy game with somewhat-realistic elements; we don't need to stick to realism here. (The cats lived about 12 years.) 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 15/08/17 @ 05:47:23 by topaz001 (#116126) |

Yes lioden is somewhat fantasy but also semi realistic where humans are random encounters, you rule a wild pride away from humans only seeing them when you wander about. No support. 0 players like this post! Like? |

No support just because I feel like the coding would not be plausible for this. Extra art, extra coding, and time that I'd prefer to see put into new mutations and features. 1 player likes this post! Like? |

i'd add conjoined to the "not certain death" list considering lots of conjoined twins do live to adulthood 0 players like this post! Like? |
