{this is currently under construction}So I was looking about in the lioden wiki and I came across the January great hunger event and I had a thought about the story line that's kinda bear bones (and if the mods want to change the names or anything else thats fine) it goes something like this:

As the great hunger begins you come across a great gathering of chimps apes and monkeys they appear to be gathering food of all kinds in a great pile amongst one of the few remaining green glades



as you watch on one of the chimps comes up to you and introduces himself as Gombe (a reference to a place where Jane Goodall did her research) and tells you that he and others of his kind have come together to collect as much food as possible so that as many animals can acquire food as possible

he then goes on to say that the scavengers and less... friendly lions have been raiding the great stock pile and that he would greatly appreciate help in protecting it from less... friendly lions and scavengers who would steal food from the pile if you help he will reward you with potentially useful items if you do so!

as you continue through the glade you encounter a male white lion and his 5 brothers and their mates amongst a great gathering of lesser lion prides as you get near the white lion and his pride his ears perk up and he turns to face you

he gives you a polite greeting and tells you that his name is Sabi and that the and his 5 brothers and their mates are the Mapogo pride (a reference to a famous coalition of male lions) and that they have left their territory to assist in giving aid in this time of crisis by protecting the lions here from the cannibalistic and man eating lions led by a monstrous male and if you assist them in defending the lions here from these merciless killers they will reward you richly!

when leave the glade you encounter a massive and terrifying male lion and his pride it's the cannibals! your surrounded and you can't escape!
the only thing you can do is go out fighting. however before you can do anything the lead male laughs and his females back down

he then says that while your a soft hearted fool you have more potential then just being a meal he then walks off in a direction and the females behind you start pushing you in the same direction!

after a time the lioness stop pushing you and you can now see your in front of a great scar in the earth that is practically filled with bones and scavengers! (prompt)you ask him why he has taken you here and who he is (prompt) you demand that he tells you who he is and where you are (prompt) other

he laughs again and says that his name is Mfuwe{reference to the man eating lion of Mfuwe} of the Njombe pride (again reference to man eating lions) and that you are here and not lunch because he see''s potential in you (prompt)ask him about what potential he see's (prompt) {other}

he tells you that you could be powerful if you assist him in gathering powerful lion and human hearts for him and his pride to eat as well as gathering the remains of warriors you ask him what for

Mfuwe tells you that the earth scar was created by the creature that he wishes to kill a creature that has only been known though pride legends a monster that is called the Ninki Nanka

when you ask him why he wants to kill it he says that it's meat when eaten imparts immortality and great power! if he where to eat it no human or lion will ever beat his pride

(prompt) you ask whats the catch
(Prompt) you express disbelief that such a creature exists and ask what the catch is
(prompt){other}
Mfuwe says that there is two catches one the breath of the monster is poisonous and two it is at least the size of the earth scar these two issues are why he desires your assistance in this endeavor

he must get the hearts so that he is powerful enough to kill the beast and he needs you to befriend the glade lions so that you may steal the ingredients needed to make his pride immune to the poison so that they can help kill it. if you assist him the will reward you greatly!
