My favourite thing about Lioden is thinking of personalities and quirks for all of my lions, and 'dressing them up'. Make them real personal and unique! I also love to read about other people's lions. But currently, the space we have for creativity (the biography box) is quite.. limited. It does not support much coding (can't even make a table), it's quite small (which makes for a very long scrollbar for people who have a big backstory!) and it's all the way to the bottom of the page. My suggestion for reworking the biographies consists out of: 1) Putting the biography box at the top, BUT only if included with a "Hide/Show" button, just like we have with the decorations box. This ensures you can just skip the entire biography with one simple click if you want to get to the markings or other stats fast. There could even be a "Collapse Biography Panel" option in Account options, just like we have now for the decorations panel. 2) A better editor. Enable the same coding possible as in Den coding (which has still things disabled for safety (I assume) but allows for more creativity, and coding.) so we can use CSS and HTML. 3) Remove the scrollbar. No more peering into a small box to read a well written story, and no more cut-off images. Make the box as long as the content. If you want to skip it, use the "hide biography" button and you can easily scroll past. 4) Remove the 1px box around the biography. This is just aesthetics. In my opinion it looks cramped and a bit old-fashioned. ![]() Here's a picture visualizing my idea (Click it for a slightly bigger picture!) I added some decoration to the biography on the right to give you an idea of the possibilities. ![]() Feel free to add onto this suggestion, and if you do not like it, please tell me why! The more opinions the better ![]() |

I totally support this. With the bio being at the bottom of the page I don't feel bothered with using it. That being said, half the time I don't notice it on other players' pages or my own for that matter donut remains relatively untouched. This would be so much better! ![]() |

Thank you for the support! Also to the people who don't support, please tell us why! Maybe it's something that can be worked out :) the more opinions the better! ![]() |

I support! Your idea looks really nice, and it is actually much like the Beetle's bios. ![]() |

I love the idea, but I like the box it feels neat and tidy to me, so maybe put that as another lovely toggle button? ![]() |

@Kaalia of course, but that's the beauty of a more advanced editor: with html/css you can make your own border ![]() ![]() I try to avoid toggles as an suggestion as I've been once told it's annoying from a coder's perspective, but I don't know how true that is. And of course my suggestion is exactly that - my view - I don't expect the staff to take it over 100% and they are free to do what they see fit (obviously). ![]() Thank you so much for posting/voicing your opinion!! ![]() |

Support! This mock-up is lovely -- as someone in the process of establishing pride lore, I'd like to see my lions's biographies featured more prominently -- and I imagine a toggle can easily be encoded in the same manner as the "Equipped Decor" section. ![]() |
