I have edited in accordance to the the reasons the old was lost. Nothing from the old that was given as a reason has been included in here. |

Once again, i support. I had a lion that i gave to a new player who had x1 cream rosette and x2 onyx rosette. I was under the impression i would be able to rebreed a lion like that, but with this new underhand system i can kiss that goodbye unless i use gnawrocks, which are a premium item that i don't feel i should have to buy to be able to breed in a breeding game. 0 players like this post! It's one gnawrock per lion. So yeah, i'd have to have a female with onyx rosette and a male with onyx rosette, use a gnawrock on both, and -hope- that i get lucky enough to have a rare mark pass from pure luck along with 100gb worth of rocks a breed 0 players like this post! Like? |

Spring-boarding off Heda's comment about banner announcements... Many games release patch notes with every update that detail each change made to the game, however small they seem. I think Lioden's communications problems would become much smaller if they did that, instead of the clearly incomplete news posts we currently get. They could regularly post a comprehensive list of all the changes they've made since the last update. No padding, no trying to sell the reader on the changes, no cutesy doodles, no "jokes" about how hard the players are to please. Just simple, clear documentation of every change or bugfix (however small or inconsequential it seems) made to the site since the last update. (Okay, maybe cutesy doodles would be okay.) These notes could be archived and searchable and available for players to peruse for future reference. So if you were curious about recent changes to markings, you could search for notes containing (in the body, not just subject) mentions of markings and relevant pages would pop right up. They'd be easier to read than news posts, because they would be complete and there would be no padding. And it would certainly be easier to browse than the staff's current method of information dissemination, which too often involves posting vital information in chat box, or as responses in random threads. If they did something like that, I think there would be a lot less ill will over changes like this. Would people still be upset? Of course. But they would feel less like the staff had been deliberately trying to keep them in the dark, and they would be able to immediately stop wasting their time and money on projects that the staff made impossible. More transparency from staff means fewer "conspiracy theories" from players. It would also have the added bonus of making us all more aware of all the hard work the staff put into improving the site for us! Another thing that might help would be having a breaking news section on the site where the staff could place alerts about ongoing issues without having to add an intrusive banner announcement or make a full news post. They could post there to let players know when they're aware of and working on a bug. Even a pinned (and frequently updated) topic on the bug board containing this info would be helpful. That could prevent players from worrying about whether or not a bug is being worked on, and prevent the staff from having to constantly having to answer the same questions about bugs in chat box. That's just my personal take on how to solve the communication problem, though. I'm not married to any particular solution. I just want the staff to show a sincere intention to begin acting with greater professionalism and transparency. I really want to believe that the staff have the best of intentions, and the recent drama has all been a big misunderstanding. Please, show us that you're listening and that you care! 0 players like this post! Like? |

I bought my tri rosette heir for my side account with the intent of eventually breeding a quad rosette with 2 onyx rosettes, a gold rosette, and a mottled rosette. Now that I've spent over 100 GB in both pure GB and items on this lion, I've found out that this is quite literally impossible unless I use Gnawrocks on every single breeding, which isn't happening. If they're going to adjust features like this, they need to announce it. It is not fair nor right that they change things like this without actually telling the entirety of the user base (and that doesn't mean one lousy post on an obscure thread, this means an actual page banner announcement). It's not as though it's difficult to let people know when you've changed a bit part of the site (ie., breeding mechanics), and honestly, it's ridiculous that we weren't, and it's even more ridiculous that this has happened several times. No matter what anyone might tell you, communication in this game is horrid and needs to be addressed ASAP. This isn't some tiny issue you can just sweep under the rug and call it clean, poor communication has been the downfall of quite a few sites and I'd hate to see that happen here as well. 0 players like this post! TBH I didn't see any problem with how most things were handled until this little marking thing which I think should have been stated in their news post, That's what it's for after all lol. I'll support anyway though because I'd like a little area or something where I can keep track of all updates or whatever on since when I take breaks it can take forever to read through every news post and comment to make sure I don't miss anything~ Though I'm pretty sure there's something in the ToS that says they can change the game whenever without notifying us or whatever and if there is then they're not in the wrong IMO lol. I'll double check and remove this if it's wrong unless someone can correct me~ 0 players like this post! Like? |

After months trying to get two copies of Clay Panther onto a lion I'd started to suspect this. Extremely disappointed to have it confirmed and annoyed that it has to be from a suggestion by another user and isn't listed anywhere. Support. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Not even sure why this was implemented in the first place. Seems like a money grab to me. Let's have the marking system go back to the way it was, the way it should be. 0 players like this post! Like? |

No support. The staff does an awesome job and let's face it, we (the userbase) CAN be pretty difficult to please at times. They might see peoples' dislike of the changes and roll back but probably not. 0 players like this post! Like? |
