Xylax mentioned in the original post about Fire Escape that the game might be reskinned for other events as well but it wouldn't happen right away. December is still several months away though. I think that everyone can agree December could use an infusion of event currency. And perhaps if the game was locked to the Gifting tier it would encourage people to gift more and reduce the bellyaching about how slow the gifting tier opens.

Pro's or Con's?

First one I can think of is that the rate of currency earned from the game and the max earned might need to be different than the Fire Escape rate. December beetles are ridiculously hard to get.
