I'm just gonna make this short and sweet, but I thought of an idea where our decor could effect our karma! Like for example the bloodbath decor would be -5 karma or the least weasel would be +2 karma! Its just a simple idea but honestly I'd really like to see this put into action! |

No support. Tying stats to clothing, regardless of what kind of stat, is a terrible idea overall because it means you're severely limited in what you're allowed to use to keep your stat where you want it. In a game like Lioden where dressing up is a major focus, it's unforgiveable to put that kind of restriction in. (They didn't even restrict it in for mutations, which may not always work right -- they just let the players figure it out on their own) ![]() |

I don't mean it would raise it or lower it a lot a lot. Probably 5 at most, plus it would only be some like bloodbath, anything really bloody (though not everything) would probably drop it a bit and anything super happy would add some karma like the double rainbow background. Though I do see where your coning from ans when you put it that way i see why you say it. ![]() |

No support i just like dressing my lions up at random and i don't want to have to worry about the karma that may be added or taken away. ![]() |

It doesn't have to be a lot. We're already discouraged from playing around with decor too much by giving the item uses; having karma effects would just make it worse. And again, it goes back to "This could and would restrict some players in what they could dress up in." Karma is not hard to get in explore, but not everyone explores, and not everyone can fully commit to their side. (For instance, someone might want good karma, but need food, so they take bad karma options and have to make it up later) I have all day to play, for instance, so a five karma shift is like nothing, but someone may only get to place once a week or less, giving it more impact. Doing this would also hurt festival decor, as people may be unwilling to buy something that gives them a karma change in the wrong direction. I know I would, regardless of if I could make it up, because the idea itself is just unpleasant to me. Add the fact that a lot of decors require work to get... yeah. I can see where you're coming from, in wanting to have certain things have a tangible effect, and that's not an inherently bad idea, but you're in the wrong space for it. That (sometimes barely) fits in a game built with the intention of stats = clothing (like in RPGs); in a game like Lioden, it doesn't fit in the slightest. ![]() |
