Waiting to be accepted into the clan, I'd love to have someplace where to offer pokemon help for people, since I have almost all the games, so.. I have access to lots of nifty stuff. ^^

While waiting..

- I have many favorites, but my number one has been Lucario in the recent years. Other favorites include Mewtwo, Gallade, Quilava, all the doggies the games have to offer (looking forward to that Lycanroc dusk form), Charizard, Grovyle (the thief).. the list goes on. So many good 'mons.
- Johto and Sinnoh! I have the sweetest memories from gen 2 and 4 games.
- Maybe Team Rocket and Galactic for above reasons.
- Possibly.. dark, followed by fire. Dark is definitely the niftiest. <3

Other than that, I really have pretty much all the games. At least one game from each generation. Colosseum and XD too. I love shiny hunting, and I love catching/breeding them in color matching balls. Finally managed to SR a shiny Mewtwo in my Soul Silver a while back! Sadly he refused to be caught in anything green so I had to master ball him. Still, better a MB'd shiny than no shiny at all. ^^

I hope we'll get more active members as well. There are pokefans on Lioden, I know that for a fact, so now we just need them to surface themselves and come chatter pokemon with us. c: I'd love to trade with people!

Gen 3 is good as well! I loved the originals and I enjoyed the remakes as well. I've been having a blast soft resetting for shiny legendaries in them as well. xD I uploaded all my mementos here in case you're interested. My phone just does that weird pinkish tint in the dark, I've been looking all over the settings and I just can't find where to turn it off. My previous phone didn't have it, so I don't get why this does.

Dialga and the Lake Spirits are my favorite Legendaries, and my favorite Mythical is Shaymin. I really want to have those Sinnoh remakes, and I'm also making a Discord for this group as we speak. Planning on making roles for favorite regions and types, and possibly favorite Teams as well.

I might be able to SR extra shinies of the lake spirits, so I can let you know when/if I get any of those. ^^ I haven't been resetting for a while again because I've been having a blast with the good old Pokemon Silver (my golden childhood <3) but I'll probably get back to resetting when I'm done playing it! Sinnoh remakes would be nifty, though I love the originals so I'm a little scared of what they'd do to the remakes. As in, while I love ORAS, they did make the RSE characters/villains more "anime" than I'd like, so to say. I haven't been particularly fond of the stories and characters of the newer games. xD

I have discord, though I'm very rarely on, but I could join a channel regardless. :D Skype's the program I'm using more, the one I have open almost always, though if I got to choose.. I'd go back for the old MSN Messenger if it was still around, lol. It was so nice and simple, I miss it. Worked like a charm.

Nice! Team Galactic need updated character art at the very least, since the poses on some of them look awkward and outdated. I, honestly, like the newer designs for Team Magma and Team Aqua, mainly because they seem more like individuals than before (seeing how Tabitha was literally just a Grunt in a cape).

The whole thing with Discord is that I know a lot of people use it around here.

Updated art definitely wouldn't hurt, I never minded the updated designs, I love the new 3D graphics. It's just the more anime-tinted personalities I'm not fan of. Courtney is a good example of this. I know a lot of people like her new character, but the robot-like personality is just too much for me. xD Though I can't remember how the characters used to be in the original/older games.. maybe I'm just getting too old for this aspect of Pokemon. Just like in Sun and Moon, whenever there was a character blocking my road or hand-holding/dragging me to places, I wanted to punch them in the face. Let me go catch new pokemon and train my team already!

Yep, Discord is more popular than Skype these days, so it's a smarter option for a group conversation. I'm just slowly becoming a granny who dislikes change (even if I'm not even 30 yet) so I'm not following my WoW buddies to Discord either. I mean, sure, I'm in the conversation, I just maybe log on to check it once a week or something. I'm just stubbornly sticking to the Skype groups. XD

I'm a veteran pokemon player since I grew up on the original games. My first game that I ever played was when I was 7 and it was Pikachu Yellow version on those clunky old gameboys. The system had no color, ran on batteries, huge cartridges that always ended up breaking and not saving because the internal battery or memory busted. The good old days when chargers didn't exist. Let's not forget the trading cable cords that you had to wiggle a bunch to trade. Then, when Leaf green came out, those wireless adapters that clipped onto the gameboy advanced system. I still have my pink gameboy advanced and it shockingly still works.

I feel so very old now that I'm a young adult and these new gen kids don't know life without chargers -shakes cane-. Anyone remember how creepy the Lavendar Town tower was when it was just the original Blue and Red versions? I don't know if it was the old game graphics and music that made it creepy or because, you know, I was like 7 years old then. I have played all the pokemon games since and it's the only video game I continue to buy. I bought a 3DS just for the pokemon games. The only one I haven't finished is X/Y. I will forever be a pokemon nerd and I have the shirts to prove it.

- What are your favorite Pokémon? Gastly and Cyndaquil are pretty much tied
- What is your favorite Region? Hoenn for the win, man! I played Sapphire as a kid way too much. It was revolutionary at that time.
- What is your favorite villainous Team? Team Aqua, because nothing they did really made sense, like let's flood the Earth and it will be cool; we'll just drown I guess. There was a serious logic flaw with that one and it makes me chuckle. Like, who is really winning here? Unless you are a water pokemon, no one else will survive. I just... I guess they just really liked fish.
- What is your favorite Type? Hmm... I'm not really a "type" person, I'm one of those "pick the cutest pokemon and then level them up and refuse to evolve them" type of player just because I can. If I had to pick a type though I guess Ghost is pretty legit.

Oh man, I remember all of that too. <3 Red and Blue came out here in '99, I was like.. 11 or something at the time? My brother had Red, so I was playing it all the time, forced to start a new game every time because I couldn't save. Then I got my own green GBC and Blue version for Christmas, and my real pokemon journey could finally begin. I still have them, btw, and they still work. My gen 1 games still haven't run out of batteries, though my Silver and Crystal did after 10 years or so (rip all the shinies I had collected with much love, I still miss you guys). I was so happy when RBY came out for virtual console on 3DS and now that GS was released as well, I've been playing them SO much now that I don't need to fear for any batteries dying. ^^ Only waiting for Crystal anymore! I hope it'll follow soon, it was such a good game.

I actually started resetting for shiny Lugia in Silver and shiny Articuno in Yellow last night. Wish me luck! Since if you transfer gen 1 'mons to SM and their shiny DVs were messed up (atk and def having been reversed), yet GS still works the original way, it's kind of.. extra chances on shinies if you don't mind which game they end up in. I'd love a shiny Articuno in Silver and I'd love one in Moon, so both outcomes are fine with me. :D

Personally, my first game was Gold, thanks to my brother - I got a red GameBoy Pocket from him along with the game. First one I beat, however, was Diamond on my old DS Lite, since I somehow didn't know that Gold was actually Pokemon until a while later. Oh well.

I don't have the patience for SRing, though I used to horde hunt. I'm currently trying out SOS chaining, as well as breeding.

I've SOS'd a Meowth and hatched an Eevee. That's about it for those two methods lol. Doesn't mean I can't keep trying!

Shiny hunting is always so much fun, it's what my endgame always consists of. xD SOS'ing is fun, as for breeding in SM, I actually have a tip that got me enjoying it so much more than I otherwise would've. When you use the masuda method and/or a shiny charm and as long as you stick to them, when you hatch a shiny, that egg will always hatch shiny even if you SR the game. So, say you save the game, then breed and hatch 10 eggs, the 10th is a shiny.. you SR and breed those 10 eggs again and the 10th will be shiny again. Everything is actually set, the baby being shiny, what stats pass to it from which parents, the nature, the ability. I recall in XY you could do this with only one egg at a time, but in SM you can basically see into the far future with this. So what I do is.. I breed the parent into perfection and then I swap into a random magikarp, since karp eggs hatch the fastest, so I can get through the chain way faster than I otherwise could. Every 10-30 eggs, I save the game, and then I just keep 'chaining'. When a shiny finally pops up, I SR and switch the parents around, and just like that, I can breed my perfect shinies! Since I can check which stats the shiny baby has maxed, I can pick a perfect parent based on that, whether it's a physical or special attacker and the like. ^^ Might feel a little cheatish, but it's not cheating since it's just how breeding works in these games. And having bred a lot in the past games, I can say I've been having a LOT more fun with breeding for shinies than I have ever before, since now it can actually pay off, instead of finally getting that desired shiny and then there being something off about it.

A good example of this was when I was breeding for shiny Fennekin in Y. I had the shiny charm, I was using masuda method, but I was incredibly unlucky. All I wanted was a shiny male Fennekin. 1000 eggs into the hunt, I finally got my shiny - but it was female! I should've been happy about that, but I really wanted a male. xD So I had to keep breeding, and another 1000 eggs later, I finally got one. Since Fennekin eggs hatch 4-5x slower than Magikarp eggs, this hunt took.. pretty darn long. Didn't leave me particularly ecstatic about breeding for more shinies afterwards. Whereas in Moon, I've already bred many shinies successfully. <3 And I've still not had enough of it!

Hello! I'm new to the Pokémon franchise, sort of. I use to watch the television show that had Ash’s original companions, Brock and Misty. I watched a little of the new television show Pokémon Sun and Moon! But sadly only a couple of episodes when I could, can't really find any episodes anymore unless I want to pay for it. I haven't played any of the older versions, I've only played Pokémon Sun and Moon. Sun version just because I loved the bright colors and also because Cosmog or Nebby turned into Solgaleo. Solgaleo reminds me of a giant white lion. I love him. My starter/first Pokémon was Popplio! My first shiny/still the only one is a Pelipper! I'm very excited to play Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. And of course, I'm going to choose Sun. But I'm going to buy the Moon version as well. Why not? I already own both Pokémon Sun and Moon. Can't wait till November 17, 2017, so pumped! Also, Pokémon Sun and Moon was the only reason I bought a Nintendo 3DS.
I guess I should answer the questions now.


- What are your favorite Pokémon? Oh. That's tough. I love my starter Pokémon but it's tied with Palossand. It's literally a sand castle and I love it. The more I think about this question, the harder my mind tries to pick a favorite!
- What is your favorite Region? I had to look this question up because I had no idea what a region was. Okay! My favorite region has to be Melemele Island! Because it's where I met Lillie and Hau. Lillie is cute and Hau reminds me of myself because of his appetite for malasada. I also found out that Guzma lives with his parents on the island too!
- What is your favorite villainous Team? Team Skull has to be second best for my favorite villainous team. Now I know I've only played Pokémon Sun and Moon and that should be my favorite team. But Team Rocket is the winner. I love them and grew up watching them! They're even in the new show Pokémon Sun and Moon! (Just learned they're the twentieth season of the anime! Wow!)
- What is your favorite Type? It has to be Water and Fairy. Because of Popplio evolving into Primarina.
