This bug has been forwarded to the admin team. What gameplay feature is this bug affecting? Future breeding projects What's the issue? Please include any error messages you receive and as much detail as possible. I just bred my lioness, Icy Rosette, with an Ochre Gnawrock to pass on her Slot 6 Mottled Rosette to all of her offspring (also used a Buffalo Scrotum, Black Stallion, and a Lion Meat if that's relevant). When she birthed the 3 cubs, I noticed right away that unlike its 2 siblings, the middle cub did not get Mottled Rosette passed on. It instead got Slot 6 Inverted Cream Rosette, which is not a marking either parent has, and even if they did it is not what should've been passed on because of the Ochre Gnawrock. *I don't know if this is necessary but the cub with the incorrect rosette marking has an adult mutation so hopefully fixing the marking won't mess with that Any links relating to this bug? For example, if a particular lion is bugging, what is the link to that lion? Here are the URLs to the father, mother, and cub in question: https://www.lioden.com/lion.php?mid=41669 https://www.lioden.com/lion.php?id=794113320693 https://www.lioden.com/lion.php?id=794113373237 Any screenshots you can provide us with? I can try to add one later when I'm on my computer Please provide us with step by step explanation how this bug happened so we can attempt to replicate it. If it's complex, please include screenshots where possible: Not really sure what went wrong. I fed my lioness a Lion Meat, a Black Stallion, and an Ochre Gnawrock (I made sure Slot 6 Mottled Rosette was selected). Then I submitted the stud request with a Buffalo Scrotum. The request was accepted, I used an Instant Birthing Feather to immediately produce the cubs, and then I discovered the anomaly. ![]() Edited on 16/09/17 @ 03:30:30 by Lady Makota (#44641) |

That's one of the rosettes that can pop up randomly. I guess they must override gnawrocks! There's only twelve kings with inverted cream, compared to hundreds with mottled, so I'd say it was still good luck to roll it - although it's too bad it didn't roll in a different slot so you could have both. ![]() |

That is a good point. And I suppose even if it doesn't get fixed at least it is a rosette of some sort! Oh yes, that would've been very cool if it had gotten both rosettes! ^w^ ![]() |

Hello! Mod box told me to report my issue here since I had a very similar experience. I gnawrocked this Lioness to pass her Ebony Heavy Rosette in slot 9. I also gnawrocked This Stud to pass his Onyx Heavy Rosette in slot 10. However, when the cubs were born, I realized that This Cub received Ginger Soft rosette instead of Ebony Heavy rosette, a marking neither parent had. ![]() |

Hello, Modbox informed me to report here, an instance of a random rosette overwriting a gnawed Slot. Slot 2 Auburn Soft Rosette was gnawed from mother, yet the cub received Red heavy Rosette instead - https://www.lioden.com/lion.php?id=794158376301 ![]() |

Hi, I was forwarded here with the same problem, I used an ochre gnawrock on my doubloon heater rosette lioness, and the cub got a ginger soft rosette instead in the slot. Here’s the link to the cub: https://www.lioden.com/lion.php?id=794172046967 ![]() |
