OK, so I know this would take a lot of coding, among other things to do, but I think that, when they are able to do it, it would be a fun addition to the game. Now then, onto my idea.

Territory Tile Boosts. It will sort of be like personalities, only instead the territory tile you decide can give you small boost to your pride mates. I haven't completely thought all of it through, but here is an example of what I mean:

Lets say the picture you chose for your territory tile was the desert. The boosts for that would be:

Lionesses – when hunting on desert tiles they get slightly more experience (not too much more) and a higher chance of get high usage foods (not too much higher, just a little).
Adolescent Lionesses – when on a hunt with lionesses on the desert tile that get a small boost in training experience (more experience than they would get on other tiles).
Sub Male – when patrolling goes on a desert tile the sub male gets a slightly higher chance in finding items.
Adolescent Male – when patrolling with a sub male on a desert tile the adolescent male gets a little more experience on the tile than others.

This would be the same for all tiles. At first I thought maybe the male lion (king) could get a bonus when exploring the matching area to the tile, but I figured that would be a bit too much. I thought it could be a fun way to make our territory tiles mean something.

Limitations:
The bonus wouldn't be much more than what they already get in terms of experience, item collecting, and chances of getting high usage foods.
To prevent players from taking too much advantage of this, the buff only counts for one tile. Ex: if your tile is jungle and you only choose jungle tiles to hunt your lionesses in, only one jungle tile gives you the buff and the rest are normal. (Suggested (and written) by Entity404)
Players can only change your territory tile once a day.

Any other suggestions or ideas for this idea would be appreciated. And I would like to know the reasoning for you not supporting if you don't support the idea. Also, I apologise if this idea has already been brought up (I looked through the forums but couldn't find anything, but I could've missed it).

Thank you for taking the time to read my idea.

This suggestion has 121 supports and 21 NO supports.

Ehh I don't really know about the one tile change per king thing. The overall idea about territory tiles giving you boosts is a really good idea but I'm a little iffy on the restriction-- I'm not sure how it would be possible to take advantage of changing your territory tile and I don't think that small possibility warrants a restriction like preventing you from changing your tile.

You have a point with that so I've updated the limitations now so that wasn't a part of it.

I can see the logic in this/ it would make sense that it would be easier for lions and lionesses to find food/item on their territory tile due to the fact it is their territory. I support.

I honestly don't know, no one has told me why they don't support. BTW, I gave you credit for your idea, hope you don't mind :)

I like this idea. It sounds like a nice way to give territory tiles gameplay meaning without it being too overpowered.

I think this is a great idea, and has good potential. Though I have to mention, have you brainstormed ideas for the other tiles? I only say this because you have limitations when it comes to creativity for each tile. o:

I am unsure of how much you can do with this to make it work. I can bring up an idea though- for lionesses, perhaps personality can be a factor with tiles?

I don't know, I'm just trying to see how this will be possible. ^.^

Hey Quae, I was thinking that the bonuses would be about the same for each tile. I don't want it to be over-powered into terms of bonuses, but I do want to make our tile picture mean something - right now they're just there and not doing anything.

Earlier versions I had thought of had included a small boost to the main lion when he goes exploring in the area matching his tile (like if the tile was rocky and he explored on the mountains he'd have a small boost when fighting and claiming lionesses) but I thought that that would be a bit to over-powered and complicated (in otherwords, to hard to code).

Another version of this I had brainstormed was that each tile had a opposite tile, so if you were to hunt/patrol on the opposite tile to your tile your chances of finding/hunting stuff and gaining experience would drop just a little. But once again, I thought that would be too difficult to code (I'm not a game developer so I don't know if it would be or not, I'm just assuming it would), so I had scratched that idea off my 'idea board'.

A couple of other versions included a limit to how often you can change your tile picture. Like once each king, once a day, once a week, once month, etc. Though as someone had pointed out, it didn't seem all that nessacary.

I was hoping by posting my idea here, I would get suggestions on how to improve my idea, as well as reasons why the idea may not be a good one. As for the lionesses personalities playing a role, I think it may be more coding than its worth (otherwise I think Iit would've been a great addition). But, if you have other suggestions or idea please tell me, and if other people like the lionesses personlities playing a role I'll give it another thought.

@Sango is there a reason why you are neutral? Any suggestions that you think might improve the idea are welcomed, and encouraged.
