Or really just one major one, I was considering doing a roleplay based around her and her jungle and still might but I just wanted to share what I had. ✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧ Bast Daughter Of Apademak and Tefnut | Older Sister to Menhit Protective - Vindictive - Proud She fled the Celestial Kingdom as an adolescent, escaping into the darkness of the Voidrealm, the endless black expanse beyond her father's kingdom where creation dares not touch. There, once long out of sight she fell into a deep sleep for two long years due to her severe mental and physical exhaustion, her dreams leeching from her body and into the nothing below her to blossom into a patch of existence that grew with each day she slept. When Bast woke, to her surprise she had created a small paradise in the cold emptiness. She set about exploring it, observing each fantastical sight and smell her mind had unknowingly conjured. There were many plants clustered in the tiny jungle, varied and colorful, warm in the light of some hidden twilight that could not be seen above where there was no sky. But there were no animals either, no sound, not even the rustling of leaves in a breeze. This little ray out light in the dark felt hollow, she realized, some some corpse pretending it was only playing dead. Then the noises did start, out in the light eating darkness of the Voidrealm, distant howls and screeches that chilled her very soul. There was no day or night to gauge how much time had passed, nothing but the beating of her own heart and the ever louder wail of some unholy beasts in the dark. The young goddess was frightened, this was a place of uncreation for a reason and she had so boldly swept in and made herself at home. There was a reason she had not been pursued once she left her birth home, here there be monsters. She did not know why her slumbering body had been left alone, but now the unknown and terrible things that lurked in the void were drawn to her...to the faint light of her unwitting creation. The light! They sought it, craved it, what they could not have and only could destroy. Bast knew now what brought Them, she need only fix it, block it if she could. It took many days of focus that was strained by the ever increasing fervor and volume of the keening cries that echoed around her, but eventually Bast managed to produce a shield around her Twilight Jungle. The bubble of celestial material appearing black as a starless night on the outside, while inside she now had an eternal sunset painting the brand new sky above her in purples, pinks and oranges. The wailing had stopped, replaced by twisted and mournful murmuring that slowly died down over many days. This was her land now, her tiny patch of hidden light in the dark, her self imposed prison. And oh how lonely it was. ✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧ Mutarada Banished from the Celestial Kingdom for producing an unsatisfactory litter Wary - Loyal - Meek The first being to reach Bast was a lioness previously from her father's pride, having been banished and chased into the Voidrealm after producing an unsatisfactory litter for Apademak. Her litter was destroyed and in a fit of frustration and uncaring rage the Celestial god had driven the distraught mother into the nothingness where she wandered lost and frightened by the chittering shadows that followed her. They grew closer and closer until finally she could feel their cold breath at her heels and nape, their sharp and needling claws brushing against her fur as if testing her corporeality, apparently find it satisfactory as they howled in distorted and cacophonous laughter. Mutarada had no one to pray to, her god had abandoned her, driven her here himself. But still she cried out for someone, anyone to please end the screaming nothing or end her before it consumed her. To her surprise, her pleas were heard as light spilled from from an unknown source with a thunderous roar that sent the demonic beings into a frenzy stuck between excitement and fear. She could see them now, twisted bodies made of a substance so black it destroyed the light, leaving them to being hazy and flickering shadows with too many eyes yet none at all that prowled at the corners of the dim glow bleeding from her savior. Quickly she was ushered into Bast's Twilight Jungle, where the young goddess quickly set to work repairing the breach she had clumsily made in her defenses. Mutarada was and is forever grateful to the princess of the twilight sky, happy to stay put away from the prying claws of the Voidrealm. Set Deserter of the Burning Lands - Relative of Apollyon Arrogant - Coward - Unpredictable Born to a high ranking family of a head guard and a noble lioness, Set was given an advantage since his first stumbling pawsteps into the sands of his home. Leniency was afforded to him in his tricks and pranks, harmless but irritating as they were. As he grew so did the scope and magnitude of his chaos. The red furred fireball was a flame left flickering in an empty home, just waiting for a chance to burst into an inferno. Things began to go downhill for Set when he was approached by a messenger from the Celestial Kingdom, his seeming disregard for his kin and gift for spreading disorder was just what was needed for them to gain a pawhold into the Burning Lands. He was promised riches, lionesses, lions if that was what he preferred, freedom to do as he pleased within his own land that would be given to him once the Burning Lands were absorbed into the Celestial Kingdom. He would be untouchable if he helped them. Set agreed, making a big show of indecisiveness that they both knew was more an act than anything else. He began feeding bits and pieces of information to the informant, all the while sneaking in a few lies as he gained the trust of his employers. Eventually, nearly all of the information given was lies, with just enough fact to let them slide through. Finally, a day arrive where the informant demanded the time and location of an outgoing patrol of border guards, the Kingdom intended to make an example of them as a first strike. Set gave the correct location but the wrong time, so that the guard's scents would remain but they would have moved on, he would say that they had gone early that day and would act frustrated and embarrassed and they would try again. What Set did not count on was the band of civilians that had come after the guards to harvest the thyme that grew in the area, they were massacred instead and the Celestial raiders returned home suspicious. Surely the Burning Lands was not so desperate as the include cubs in it's guard. Set was shocked when he was accused of treachery by the Celestial informant, but fearful as well, this was his fault and if it was traced back to him then who knew what would happen. He fled, telling no one and running as fast and far as he could. Eventually finding his way out into the Voidlands, whispering out a stream of fire as he went to keep the shadows and murmurings at bay. He still hates the smell of thyme. ✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧ A little introduction I wrote for this particular AU The Celestial Kingdom is not all that it is made out to be, it is a land of beauty and starry grace to be sure. But every star is a distant sun waiting to burn out, to burn out and destroy everything close to it. A sickness permeates Apademak's land born of his own mind and ambitions, above all else his goals are what matter and those who do not fit into his plan are either obliterated or cast away like a forgotten toy. Beyond the mad god's kingdom lies an endless waste of nebulous darkness known as the Voidrealm, it's only inhabitants being horrifying apparitions from before and beyond time that both fear and crave the light and life they cannot have. This is what awaits those who are not turned to stardust, a fate worse than death. Cursed to wandering in inky black nothing until it weighs you down deeper, deeper, darker until you too are nothing and want only for that blinding, terrible, lovely light you once remembered. You see that light, occasionally. Leaking out from some hidden thing, a cloaked fortress of life and warmth that you want so badly you can taste it on your dried and black tongue. It doesn't come from the lands of starlight, that is too safeguarded to enter, even staying at the border could wipe you away forever due to the presence of the bright moonlight. But this, a luscious and dim glow, so deliciously delicate. You want it. You want THEM. You cry out, and thousands of others join you. You just want to be let in, you just want to see the light and feel alive one more time... ✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧ That's all I got for this for now, anyone else have any celestial...uh, OCs I guess they are? Ideas of what other children or relatives of Apademak are like? All of these lions/bgs/items are basically mashups of existing bases and markings with edits to make them more cohesive. 1 player likes this post! Like? This is beautiful, I've been wondering about the celestial kingdoms myself. I'd absolutely love to meet more of its inhabitants. Can I just say that Bast is beautiful, Mutarada deserves love and set is-... a loveable asshole? either way they are all gorgeous and I'd love to hear more about them. I too have been thinking up celestial characters and making my own headcannons. Take for example my first Celestial OC, Pakhet. She is wise and acts like an all-knowing god but she really just wants to help and guide her children to glory. She's about the same age as tefnut maybe older. She's very motherly to her children, her pridemates but also to apademek. Pakhet isn't the most beautiful or even the smartest but she's strong and loyal, Perhaps thats why she's been kept alive so long. Anyway, I haven't put as much thought into my OC's as you have but I just love to share my creations and thoughts. 0 players like this post! Like? Thank you, thank you. :D I need to work on Set, he is indeed an ass and has a long way to go with learning how to not be a complete turd that causes unneeded drama. Pahket sounds like the pride mom, the one who tries to keep everyone together during arguments ad hard times, sounds like she and Tefnut would have gotten along. Did you ever make a design for her? Oh you're welcome, I can tell you put allot of love and effort into this If you ask me Set kinda sounds like starscream from transformers (Which I love). Kind of dumb but still could be cunning when needed? Like he wants to lead but he's obviously not leader material so he throws a big fit over it. If thats the case then I wanna punch him and then hold him and calmly explain that no Set you cannot just order everyone around like some sort of ass-king. Exactly, she hates it when everyone is fighting and yelling, She tries her hardest to calm everyone down but if apademek is angry then they all are. Oh she and tefnut would've been best friends (and they probably were, outside cannon of course), They would've talked about how children are a nightmare but 'they're so cute when they sleep'. I am currently working on a design, I want to make her similar to tefnut but probably more yellow? Who knows, I change my mind allot. 0 players like this post! Like? Never watched that, but for the most part your right. He doesn't give a damn about being leader though, he doesn't really care about the concept of authority. If he wants to do something? He is doing it, too bad. It's in his very nature to mix the MnMs with the Skittles if you get what I mean. The god he is named after is a god of chaos so I want him to reflect that. If he is at risk of facing any consequences for his actions though, he is out of there. So Tefnut would be Sunset and she would be Dawn, in a sense? I imagine you could even say they were cousins or sisters. Maybe both given to Apademak as a gift from another kingdom as a peace offering? 0 players like this post! Like? |

Ooh I like that much better. He really is like fire then hm? Burning the ground on which he touches only to flee to the next scene of destruction, Never to look back at what he has caused? He might just outright deny ever doing such a thing. Is he fun chaos or dog eat dog and babies crying chaos? I'm assuming the latter. I like that idea as well, Twins of the sky and sun. Maybe not actual twins but spiritually wise they have a connection. Again with the good ideas, Perhaps at the fear of invasion their father/king/what have you sent them away with the hopes that Apademak wouldn't strike him down. So yeah- A peace offering. 0 players like this post! Like? |

To be honest? Probably a mix of both, sometimes going too far due to his own negligence and blurred lines between right and wrong. He's not intentionally trying to do evil things, more like he can't help himself and it goes bad sometimes. Wouldn't make sense for them to be from the Burning Lands, but I can definitely see them coming from a kingdom that has ties to it. Probably now ruined by the Apollyon/Menhit union. I bet Apademak wouldn't tolerate even friends of the Burning Landers now, could also be part of the reason why he killed Tefnut in a hissyfit other than her not popping out some mythical combo base. Oh shit...thinking of that, in this little au, he could have been trying to recreate Bast's base since he lost her to the Voidrealm. It all could very well tie together. I can also do a mockup of Pakhet's base if you'd like? 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 03/10/17 @ 05:10:11 by Natanocte (#61) |

I see, He needs a timeout or maybe some jail time. Perhaps he can be reformed? I could see a girl swooning over him only to be swept up into his storm. Either she wakes him up to his nastiness by leaving or she slowly guides him to a better life or he just keeps being an ass until someone smacks him awake. I like him either way, Set the lovable asshole. Oh! I have a little headcannon about a pride thats in between the celestials and the burning lands. They're called the day walkers and they're gods among mortals. They seek to protect the earth and its denizens. Anyway back to the subject at hand. I could see that happening. Pakhet would be distraught but I doubt she'd say something about it, her fear of Apademak's rage would be too great. I don't see ape killing Tefnut over nothing other then not making a pretty baby, It'd have to be deep anger only boiling over from the one little drop. In his eyes, Bast would probably be dead so it'd make sense he'd try and recreate her. This little thing is starting to turn into a full blown story/lore and I love it. Also I'd love that, You're bases are very pretty and I'd be very thankful if you did. (I was thinking she might have a darkish blue-pink where tefnut had pruple but you go wild, I don't mind either way) 0 players like this post! Like? |

He'll have all the time he needs to chill out stuck in the Twilight Forest surrounded on all sides by unknown horrors, I imagine. Probably, or end up burning it down. Who knows? Sunset lioness coming from a group called Daywalkers isn't too far fetched, I could see that. Plus Apademak is basically the night sky god, so any peace between the groups would have likely been short lived anyways. And I'm all for writing down lore even if it isn't canon, it's fun to make and mythology is 10/10. Okay sooo, I made two versions. Not from scratched unfortunately but by tweaking the sunset base as you said it was similar to it. The first version you mentioned her being more yellow than Tefnut and the second one you said there was more blue. So I figured making 2 versions wouldn't be amiss; Golden 0 players like this post! Oh boi, I hope he's okay- Y'know despite being a rude meany lion. I always thought of them as a group of lions that separated from the two waring factions but yeah they're not very strong or large so just give out virgins and hope for the best is their only strategy well it was before Apademak threw a tantrum and ate all their damn souls. Chill boi. Lore making is very fun! The game's lore is still quite shrouded in mystery so I say its all fair game. Man, How do you do that? Even if you didn't make it from scratch it still looks amazing! And as for the yellow vs blue thing. I thought that if she was mostly yellow colors then she'd look too much like a burning lander and thats no good, so adding blue in would kinda represent the sky? Like in sunrise you have the land, the sun and then the blue sky. So similar to Tefnut but still her own look. Anywho I love this, You did an awesome job and thank you times uh- too much to count! 0 players like this post! Like? |

Site isn't posting the blue version on that post, so I'mma try it here. Blue Version Sorry about that I didn't check to notice it. 8w8 I personally would love more info on the burning lands, or how Menhit would change the celestial kingdom. I feel it would become more like your concept of the Daywalkers. But someone would have to rule the night, so maybe one of Apademak's other children decide to snatch it up? Or even an outsider. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 03/10/17 @ 08:42:02 by Natanocte (#61) |

You may wanna double check that link as well, It's just taking me to the golden one. You might have accidentally copied the wrong one. And its okay, I'd be lying if I said it never happened to me. Yes, I am starving for more info on the celestial/burning land lore. That'd be cool, The Daywalkers are just all good lil' babies and they all want the world to be happy. Depending on your choice in the story Apademak either dies, retires or continues to rule either with an iron paw or with a new outlook on things. I'd love to see more of Ape's kids, Males who are just like their dad, cocky and rash but actually just covering up a fragile ego and girls who want to have fun and be pretty but are actually smart and working the reins behind the scene :0 Or yeah an outside could work too, a mysterious loner turns up one day and just wrecks everyone in his way to the throne and ape or menhit are just ??? who the heck??? 0 players like this post! Edited it with the right thing, hopefully jfdsjfjsfj. I imagine many of Apademak's sons don't live, they are either to dangerous to his rule or useless as breeding fodder so they either get culled as cubs or kicked out once they reach a certain age. There's lots of different futures for the Celestial kingdom depending on what people chose, I imagine for example, if you go Apollyon's route then the ceelstial kingdom would be absorbed into the Burning Lands with Menhit ruling it for Apollyon as he can't maintain such a large territory on his own. 0 players like this post! Agh its beautiful, Thanks again. Yeah that makes sense, Though he doesn't seem outright hostile to a sub male especially with how he treats your king (thought maybe its only because you're not related to him). I honestly don't trust apollyon he probably doesn't brush his teeth. I wonder which path is cannon... I honestly think/hope its the ape redemption one because ape is the daddy of lioden, we can't go off killin' everyone favorite blue boi! 0 players like this post! Like? |

No problem. c: I figure they're all canon, depending on what route you took. Can always consider them all alternate timelines, I personally took Apollyon's route and while I don't really wanna trust him I figure if Menhit likes him then he can't be too terrible. Still wish the player coulda swept her off her paws instead. 👀 But giving away rare base lionesses on a scale like that destroys the point of it being a rare base. I kind of like the idea of her being born after Bast runs off after figuring out her dad is p much out of his mind, so she has no clue she has a sister out there in the void. 0 players like this post!
