This happened to me with a rabid boerboel. I also had a rabid fox just dump me back on the explore splash screen with no battle at all.

I am reporting that I have encountered the same issue.

What's the issue? Please include any error messages you receive and as much detail as possible.
This has been ongoing for about four days.

When I'm exploring, sometimes when I click a button for interaction such as "Claim" (vs battle) for lioness, it skips past it as if I ignored. Happens very frequently.

Also, when I click "Battle" for enemies like a Stork, a rhino, or a pack of Barbel dogs, a angry lioness battles me instead. Happens very frequently: every other battle.

I did try to clear my cache and cookies to see if this was the issue, and to type the website manually into the browser and access it that way in case it was a bookmark deal preventing the site from working properly. I'm using Safari as my browser, and a Mac desktop.

Any links relating to this bug? For example, if a particular lion is bugging, what is the link to that lion?
Both of my kings/accounts. I use the same browser. I can attempt a different browser to see what happens.

If going through explore and clicking "Claim" for every lioness it will skip it for every other encounter. Also I have been battling every enemy that moves, and this is where it will either skip past the battle or an angry lioness will occasionally appear for an enemy instead. I battled a pack of Barbel dogs and an angry lioness battled me instead. It happened twice with a Stork and once with a white Rhino. This was in the Rocky Hills explore area.

This issue has happened several times while I explore, and it is when I choose to fight a animal and when the battle screen comes up, it turns into a lioness even if that wasn’t what I encountered. This has happened when battling a scarred lion and a striped hyena so far. To clarify, when I click “fight” it behaves as it would if I clicked that option on a lionesse. I explore in dry Savannah by the way.

First, I went to explore. I was fighting basically anything I came across. I am not sure this matters at all, but when I want to fight a lionesse I choose the “claim” option and then slap her if it isn’t immediately obvious that she is a valuable chased. Anyway, I clicked “fight” for a scarred male lion/striped hyena and all of a sudden I was battling a lionesse instead.

I have had the same issue. Was exploring in area 1 it happens every once in a while when I encounter a snake demon thing, I click attack and it brings me into a battle with a lioness.

Edit: made a recording! It happened this time with another animal. (Carcal I think is the name of the animal?) Also caught another glitch in the recording where I clicked on “claim a lioness” and it brought me back to the main explore screen.

I went into explore to complete a quest for Bast, Defeat 10 Large or Small (Non-Lion) Felines, but when I encountered a caracal and went to battle it the screen had changed into a battle with a lioness. The counter on the quest didn't change when I won the battle, so it did count it as a lion battle.

I went into explore, into the forest. When I found apollyon to attack him for chapter 2 of this events story, it sent me into a battle with a cheetah instead.

I kept trying to attack hyenas and 2 or 3 times it took me to a battle page with I lioness instead of a hyena.

Whenever I tried to fight a Banshee, it would show the enemy as a lioness rather than the Banshee :( This has happened more than I would’ve been expecting it to, and I’m sorry as I can’t really provide pictures due to the capricious nature of the bug.
There is another bug that completely skips over my decision and moves on to the next step in Explore, such as claiming a lioness, snatching a stone, and picking a battle. I also can’t provide pictures to this, sorry.

This has been happening to me for a few months now. It’s a big piss off when it comes to trying to complete event encounters. As an example, I needed to defend the bones from a group of hyenas for November event, I spend all day yesterday looking for it and when I found the encounter today it turned into a lioness battle
Side note: The battle with the lioness doesn’t count towards event encounters. Meaning, if I encounter hyenas but it becomes a battle with the lioness it will count as a battle with a lioness not the hyenas.

I Just attacked Scavenging Hyenas and it made me battle;;; but there was NO Opponent??
