The Story...
Far from the land and the concerns of man, deep in the seas where no landstriders have yet seen, existed a realm of purity and cruelty. The seas of craggy rocks, crashing deep and savage with frothing waves and a permanently black and thundering sky, lightning was a common view for the cold hearts of the Thundersea dolphins; darkly colored marauding mammals of rampant anger, fear, and hostility. Yet, on the other side of those crags, opened a wide and shallower haven of turquoise waves and pearly-clear water, the storms blocked by those same black cliffs. Unaffected by the storming skies and abundant with sunshine and light scattered rain existed Purehaven, where dolphins of brighter colors and chivalrous intention spent their days with play and adventure.

But their territory is constantly under threat from those of Thundersea, and the situation is becoming desperate. A lack of food from the darker waters has incited invasions. Dolphin clashes against dolphin, a territorial dispute for survival. Thundersea needs the food, and Purehaven is resistant to let go of their veritable paradise.

Take control of your own dolphins to guide them throughout their struggles! Be you from the black waters of Thundersea or the gleaming recluse of Purehaven, or perhaps a little bit of both, it will be up to you to ensure these dolphins survive, grow, and adapt.

Important Information...

Animated Breed-able Dolphin Adoptables! Over time, these animations may become more complex and come with more options, depending on how well they are liked. All animations, lineart, and colorations were done by me -- Coldsummer, AKA Otterbird or Kryodrache. These creatures can be bred, and I will include a roll system for possible mutations and markings! This thread will develop a little bit over time, so feel free to keep checking back.

Dolphins are currently at $5 per adopt, or at 10GB. Each dolphin currently comes with 10 frames of animation. There are no age stages yet. I intend to include items over time, perhaps companions that will animate with your dolphin as I'm going to keep them all catalogued. I'm open to suggestions, questions, etc.!

Idea: If a dolphin has been posted in Adoptable for too long without any interest garnered, that dolphin might become depressed. It may attempt to make an escape and leave the pods entirely! This can lower the score of a faction. However, there is also a chance for the fleeing dolphin to be captured by either faction. If you see a dolphin fleeing (via my reply post), and no one has done so yet, hurry to claim it and you can get it for free!
