Calliope knew she should have stayed close and paid attention, now she was all turned around and lost. "It's my own fault for getting distracted by some dumb bug," she grumbled, annoyed at herself. She was just curious about a weird bug that was flying by, now she couldn’t find a single trace of her brother anywhere! She groaned, trying to remember which way he was heading beforehand. She spent a few minutes roaming around the area in an attempt to catch his scent but to no avail. Surely he’d come back for her, right? After another five or so minutes of being alone in the forest, she finally saw him a bit away by some bushes, obviously in no rush to go anywhere or to find his sister. She ran to him, greeting him enthusiastically and apologizing for getting lost. She rubbed against Attis and purred, but he seemed unbothered, barely even greeting her back. He almost appeared disappointed that she had found her way back to him. That surely couldn’t be it! Calliope thought, ignoring it and telling herself that she was just reading him wrong. EDIT: i didn't follow one of the prompts, i hope thats ok! ![]() Edited on 25/10/17 @ 16:11:03 by vrisrezi (#126720) |

Whisper ran through the old building. She was being chased by a dog from Night's watch, and she needed to find a place to hide. She finally saw a open crate and climbed inside finding it full of stuffed childrens toys. She burrowed into them and tried to make her breathing quiet. The dog walked past sniffed and turned to leave the building. Just then one of the toys started to sing, and the dog turned snarling. Whisper sighed and then leaped out and ran straight past the slightly surprised hound. She exited the building and raced towards the forest. The other hound chased her and was just about to catch her when she entered her own territory. Whisper turned and snarled at the dog before heading back to camp. She collapsed in the dirt and breathed heavily. As soon as she caught her breath she went to the Alpha. "Alpha, i was scouting in the Nights watch territory and i got chased into a building. It is full of crates with stuff in them, we might be able to find some soft furs from the longpaws. What do you think?" she asked. ![]() Edited on 10/11/17 @ 19:12:11 by Sky (#121928) |

((I'm new to discord, but definitely interested!)) A small, spotted Australian cattle dog sat in the desolate pit, mere hours before he was doomed to fight. He held an undying loyalty towards his Alpha, though was dismayed at the thought of being put up against a dog twice his size, with an obvious upper hand in strength and an intimidating stature. His Alpha wouldn't let him die, as he was a valuable asset to the Night's watch pack, though the brawl would not come without heavy repercussions. If he didn't participate, his Alpha would be ashamed and he would be deemed untrustworthy. If he decided to risk it, he may end up injured or worse - a paralysed dog was as good as dead. The lonely silence was deafening, forcing the small dog to mull endlessly over his tormenting thoughts. ![]() |

(Hope this is okay) Reese kept her nose down as she made her way into the junkyard. The lcelandic Sheepdog had previously disguised her Night watch pack scent from any loners, a tattered and ripped white bandana was nestled in her long fur. Her eyes searched the area and she heard a low growl come from a dirtied Maltese inside what looked to be a makeshift den. She growled back continuing on forward and hopping up on a abandoned couch then to a mattress higher up. She looked down and her brown eyes met with an old diaper bag. The scent coming from it seemed to be the decomposed carcass of a cat. She spent half of her life gnawing on bones, and cat seemed to be her favorite. She grabbed the strap and tugged, finally skidding down from the trash pile trotting away with her treasure. ![]() |

Hansel kept herself up to a comfortable trot. Her tongue lolled off to one side of her mouth and her ears were calmly angled toward the back of her head. The female pitbull had her sights set on the junkyard. The dogs currently there didn't mind her, given they knew of her mostly kind demeanor. She was allowed to scavenge as she pleased. Hansel cast greeting glances tp the few spuls here already; two terrier mixes and a Labrador, it seemed. They were there as a group, likely from a pack or some other group. Hansel at this point was a stray, and was happy with the peace she maintained among herself and the organisations around her. The fawn bitch was digging through a rubble like, using her nose to scoot pieces of trash to and fro in her search for something substantial. She dug with her paws a bit as well before coming across an unopened bag of potato chips. Wow, that was a pleasant surprise! She took it as an omen that today was going to be a good day. (Hope this is okay :) i did my own prompt) ![]() |

Rahni stared up at the sky as she thought about the things she had left behind. She had abandoned her pack. She scoffed as she remembered the looks on their faces when she lashed out at the alpha. She was tired of the abuse she suffered through because she was born on a blood red moon. She wasn't a freak of nature, and she could only take so much. She growled low in her throat as she remembered the looks of disgust on their faces. She was an earth wolf for freaks sakes. She wasn't going to bring about some great disaster to wipe out her pack, but it's not like that mattered anyway. She left, simple as that, and she wasn't ever going back to that life. She was a free wolf now, and she was not giving up her new found freedom for anything. She growled softly at that thought before huffing softly. She glanced around the clearing she was in. It was rather beautiful with stargazer lilies scattered around her. She wagged her tail softly as she sniffed one to her right. It smelled heavenly, and it made her smile softly. She lay down on the soft grass of her new home as she glanced up at the moon. It was half full and an eerie red color. 'Is that the fabled blood red moon?' she thought cocking her head to the side curiously. 'If so, would that mean I'm going to lose control of my powers when the moon is full? No way. Those old farts probably lied to me to make me compliant with their wishes,' she thought shaking her head. She sat up and scratched behind her ear before she stood up. She padded through the meadow she was in until she arrived at a small stream. She leaned down and lapped at the cool water. She relaxed as the cool water slid down her throat. She flicked her tail to the side, and watched as flowers started to appear around a tree. She smiled softly as she watched the moon flowers grow. That was just one of the many things she could do with her powers. She never showed her pack the extent of her powers because she never fully trusted any of them. She let them think she couldn't control them very well, and sometimes pretended to discover a new power to keep up her charade. It was quite fun, and it was worth seeing the look on their faces when she used the power 'accidentally' on someone she didn't like. She quickly made her way back to the meadow she had been in. She made her way to the center, careful of the flowers around her until she lay down in her spot. She sighed softly as she breathed in the night air. She stiffened as the wind shifted and brought a scent to her nose. It was a male. She growled low in her throat in warning. She wasn't in the mood for games right now. "Show yourself!" she stated through gritted teeth. (This is from an I rp I did a while ago.) ![]() |

A heavy pant left from the young male beauceron's chest as he calmed his rising heartbeat while waiting for the match to begin in the damn pit; his alpha though a fair dog, was pitting him up against a canine twice his size and expected him to survive. He knew he would not allow him to die as he was an assets to this pack being as he was a young virile male, swift upon his paws despite his muscular build and crunch behind his jaws. He was a deadly killer, a trained hunter before his human had abandoned him. His alpha knew of him and his parents, the best hunters in the valley and trained to take down bears, lions, wild dogs, etc after the perfection of his training. Nostrils flaring he picked up the scent of the overly muscular brute, ears soon twitching atop his head as he heard his heavy gait as he came closer to the pit, surely ready to taste the young male's blood. Licking his dark lips, the young male readied himself, frame stretched out and muscles ready to constrict to put him in a fine pouncing position once this fight would begin. He would revert back to his training, assess his target, watched how he moved by allowing the male to charge at him for a few minutes and see where he could bounce, pounce, run anywhere within that pit to get leverage and use the force behind his unnatural speed to subdue his attacker and pin him by using his own attack. He just had to wait. ![]() |

Black boots hit the concrete ground as Ronan moved quickly down the street at almost a running pace. He had been fighting the undead when more had appeared, basically a horde, and, with no chance of surviving a fight, he retreated, with his dog trailing quickly behind. Looking back, the young man relaxed at the sight of no zombies. ![]() |

A black-pelted, shadowy figure moved elegantly through the foliage by the side of the beach, carefully avoiding areas that were more sandy than others. Unlike many other of the dogs in the group, Angerona wasn't a big fan of this new, temporary territory. The openness made her uncomfortable, and the salty smell of the water invaded her senses. So that was why she tried to focus her attention on another, more subtle smell laced into the saline scent of the beach - cats. A rush of excitement ran through the fae as she thought of the upcoming battle with the felines. Being rather young compared to other soldiers, she hadn't been able to fight much yet, and she was eager to prove that she was a worthy opponent on the battlefield. She understood that Remus and Romulus definitely needed as much time as they could get to plan out their battle strategy, as recently they hadn't been doing very well, but she felt like a fight was a perfect distraction from her current issue. It had only been about a week since her father had ran off, and since then Angerona had been spending far too much time pacing around on her own, lost in her thoughts. Her gaze slowly moved over to Remus and Romulus. One look at Romulus and Angerona knew he felt like she did about the beach, and she couldn't help but let out a small huff of amusement. Remus, however, looked rather content with himself 'Even though he's the reason my father took off.' As soon as she realized what she had just thought, Angerona shook her head, 'No, my father abandoned the Trojans because he's a coward. I can't blame that on my Generals.' She shoved the intrusive thoughts out her her mind and padded closer to Remus as he called for the Soldiers to sort themselves into hunting parties. With any luck, Angerona would be able to slip away unnoticed and not have to join a group. [A post from a dog RP I was a part of. I'm very flexible, and I can write more or less than this, depending on how much everyone else writes. :) ] ![]() |

Tourmaline, a majestic pharaoh hound, trotted through the ruins of the town. Her nose twitched as she covered the dusty ground in easy, graceful strides. Her paws stirred up the dust and dirt that carpeted the street she had once called home. Every day she came back to her previous home, hoping to catch a glimpse of her owner, or to remember the happy times she had spent there since she was a pup. The once warm and cozy home was now a desolate skeleton and no trace of the happiness remained. Before the flood, her family had frantically packed the car with all of their belongings. They had then driven off without her. Tourmaline remembered watching the children's tear-streaked faces watching her as they moved farther and farther away. When the flood had finally hit, Tourmaline hid in the tree house that had previously belonged to her owner's children. They had made a modified ramp especially so Tourmaline could make her way up to play with the kids. When the damage had been done and the waters finally receded, Tourmaline had joined the Dawnguard pack. After sitting and reminiscing for a few minutes, Tourmaline rose and broke into a run. Her sleek body stretched out, devouring the ground before her. She ran and ran until she could run no more. She reached the edge of Roselake and put her nose to the ground. A scouting party from her pack had passed this way not too long ago. Tourmaline began to lope along the shoreline, following the scent trail to join up with the party, the setting sun setting her ginger coat ablaze. Due to the rising threat from Night's Watch, they would probably need her help. ![]() |

River knew something was up , her caretaker had brought her out here in the cold snow , far far away from camp , and then met up with a strange dog , he didnt smell like anyone she knew, then her caretaker walked away with the strange male, she had to do something ... so she took off after them , running as fast as her little short legs could carry her ... she went much faster than she thought that she would be able to ... she was soon about 4 tail lengths behind her caretaker and this stranger. Then she put out a burst of speed and soon overtook them , growling as she passed them , then slid to a stop facing them. Then raising her hackles and growling and snapping at them , "Where do you think you are going ?? Trying to run away from little ole helpless me eh??" At this point River was enraged , she had already been abandoned once and she was not going to let it happen again. ![]() |
