It just happens that you did as well. A small, winged dragon with no protection and not the slightest idea on how to use your powers. Only a handful of us survived, and thanks to the protection of our valiant mother-human we were able to mature and learn how to use our powers to help our kind take back the land ruled by a king as mad as he was blind.
No human has set foot on our lands since the war has ended and our mother-human has passed on to the fire-in-the-sky, nor will they ever again.

It has been centuries since the last human died, and things have settled in nicely for dragonkind. Recently, the Regent has fallen ill. The old male has no heirs or Monarch, and so the young Claw is preparing to become Regent herself. Her coronation draws near, and responsibilities begin to pile up. Who will become the next claw? Who will the Regent chose as her Monarch?
