So I'm on a base making roll today! I decided to make up a Rose Gold/Pink base. I believe this would do well as an iridescent base! This of course won't be the finished product if this base ever comes to fruition~  A test for a new Rose gold with a bit better highlights- I CANT CHANGE IT SO IT LOOKS GOOD H E LP (Its quite obvious I got inspiration from Ardor, its just a test and Ill be changing it dont worry  ) I'd imagine it would be red light, and was kind of made to fit in with the February bases. personally i think a "rose gold" base would have more of a yellow tint on the highlights, and maybe some glittery parts to highlight the "gold" part of rose gold. rose gold is a difficult colour to recreate, and this base is very pretty, but i don't think it quite mimics what it's trying to. i think this is more like a shimmery pink eyeshadow, it's shimmery, but it doesn't shimmer in a separate colour to the base colour - i think a rose gold base coat would shimmer in orange/yellow rather than just a lighter pink. :3 0 players like this post! I feel like it needs a touch of gold to it. Probably at the highlighted areas. Very light, but enough to tell that it's rose gold. It's pretty as it is, but also really similar to Maroon and/or Cherry Blossom. Still supported, as I love it. 0 players like this post! Like? |
