So, I'm not sure if this has happened to anyone else ( and feel free to delete or lock this topic if there's another one like it or move it if it's in the wrong place ) but I just lost out on tons of currency because I tried listing a trade for 100k sb, but nowhere does it state that you CAN'T list a trade for that much. Instead, it lowers the trade to 10k without telling the user. Then, lo and behold, someone buys the trade immediately and you're out 90k sb profit. My suggestion is, perhaps, a text bar in red on the next page that informs the player the value of currency they entered is invalid or maybe a little pop up that says "The value you have entered is too high and will be lowered to x amount. Are you sure you wish to proceed?" Or, at the very least, a little box that pops up like the messages before a transfer. Something like: "Are you sure you wish to list this trade for x amount of sb/gb?" I know this doesn't happen to everyone, but I can't be the only person this has happened to. Feel free to explain no supports or make extra suggestions to make this even better. :) Cleaner suggestions Mad Hyena (#29080): Not a red bar maybe but just a text specifying you cant enter more than 5 digits of a number, something like: "The maximum buyout you can set is 99999". |

It's not that it devalues trades - it just has a digit limit in the sum box, so you cant enter 100 000, but you can enter 99 999. You just cant enter the last 0, too bad you didnt notice it before hitting submit the trade! It was always this way actually, this is the reason why all overvalued items in Branches are priced 99999 - it's just the top max. Older players like me dont even notice that I guess! Not a red bar maybe but just a text specifying you cant enter more than 5 digits of a number, something like: "The maximum buyout you can set is 99999". Because the trade doesnt have the means of checking if you meant to enter 100000 or 10000, it just has a hard limit of 5 digits and further 0's simply arent added. ![]() |

Thank you! I actually didn't realize there was a digit limit to item values. I dont look at branches enough to notice the 99999 limit. I'm kind of starting to wish I did now haha I went ahead and added that to the original post, because it's a much cleaner suggestion! Thank you so much for helping me clear that up. :) ![]() |

+1 Support Some form of notice needs to get implemented. It sucks when it lowers the price without telling you. ![]() |

This would be helpful, I once ran into a trade with 20 GB for like 1200 SB being a good person I am I bought it and quickly PM the person and asked them if it was a mistake or meant, when they said it was a mistake I return his GB and he return my SB .... had a dishonest person found that before me the guy would be out 20 GB. So I think this would be helpful so that things like you or the guy I helped doesn't happen again. ![]() |
