I have played this game for quite a long time and have had 40 territory for awhile so I couldn't even begin to remember how much it went up by. I guess I just assumed since it cost 2GB to expand that it would be more than a one slot upgrade.

The only reason I say price change is because I don't see the need paying 2GB for a slot to keep a lioness or lionesses in my pride that is not even worth 200Sb. Let alone paying 20GB in total. I just don't understand why it costs that much to expand a pride.

Because the game needs a way to stay afloat, thats one of its ways, it also because if it was cheaper everyone will get more and more lions, and that would be hard on servers

40 slots is already a lot of lionesses; you can still work on breeding projects and keep a really nice pride with that much territory. Anything more is a luxury, especially factoring in your side account's 40 non-GB slots as well.

Many of us have already bought multiple slots for that 2GB fee; I've seen some users with 100+ territory spaces. Many of us have also chosen not to, because ±40 lionesses is already a lot of work and is still a very respectable pride.

What would happen if the devs suddenly decided that 2GB(which, mind you, is less than most things sold in the Oasis and is roughly equivalent to 1 USD) should be worth 10 slots, not one?

Either the players who already bought 20+(120+ in the above 100-total-slot example) GB of slots get really, really irritated... Or they give us nine extra slots per one we'd already bought, which would inflate a fair number of prides to an insane size and cause huge server strain as a result due to these extra lionesses and cubs being kept and not chased/killed/etc... Or they refund us GB to make up for this sudden, way cheaper price for extra territory we didn't know we could wait for, which would mess with the economy and would reduce monetary support for the site for a while given many will have extra GB sitting around and no need to buy more.

I support the notification being clarified; don't touch the cost of slots after 40.

Maybe instead of 1 slot to 10 slots for 2 gb.
it could be a smaller change from 1 slot to 2 slots for 2GB.

I agree and wouldn't add much to what has already been stated, because that's also a good enough reason to not repeat, but I would say there's a lot of member whom already paid GB into their territory, including myself (on my main account I have 65) and so for those whom already paid into it and either worked their asses off to get GB or bought it, wouldn't be fair to have the opportunity for others to just as easily get territory, compared to those who worked for it.

As it's been a set price for a while, the change of price would just give many people the better chances of gaining territory so quickly and having many lionesses than those I just mentioned.

Yes, one slot for 1GB would be fair. Or up until 50 1gb then 2gb until 75 and so on.
