Hello! Simple stud suggestion here!

Now that we have the option for the stud request system to filter the fertility of a lioness out, it would be nice to have the system fail to send a stud request out if you are out of slots for the week. My side's king is a sunset king, and I sold out the first week of having him. However, people were still sending stud requests. Because I turned requests OFF, I forgot to turn them back on until I had to level up a few days later, after the Monday reset.

You could always reject them, but then that discourages people from coming back and studding to you again, not realizing you may be out of slots. I personally don't send requests to kings after mine has been rejected.

If you have any thoughts on how I could improve this suggestion, tell me!

"What about a toggle where you can choose if your king's studding information is visible or hidden when you run out. Then it resets on the Monday reset while keeping your settings for the next time you run out."

I absolutely support!

I sent a stud request to a king a while ago without realizing that he was out of slots. The next day, I got a message in my inbox reading "Stud Request Rejected." I feared the worst -- I thought I had broken one of the stud's rules! I didn't want to annoy this beautiful, beautiful king! Fortunately, the user sent me a personal message explaining that they'd run out of stud slots for the week, that they were so sorry and that they hoped I would keep their stud in mind in the future. I really appreciated that sweet message, but I'm sure it took a lot of time to write. I'm sure that the user has to send those kinds of messages all the time!

A feature like this would make things easier and more efficient for both the owner of the stud and the owner of the lioness. Rather than having to wait for the stud's rejection, the lioness would get instant feedback telling her to look elsewhere. Rather than have to choose between seeming rude or spending 10 minutes writing a personal message apologizing, a stud could have an automatic response. It's a win-win!

I like being able to get requests even when I have 0 slots, I use a bulrush after in order to accept requests. I'd like to keep it that way personally, however I can understand people wanting to reduce spam.

This king has run out slots for the past 4 weeks, something that has never happened for me, and I've had to mail 2 people asking if they wouldn't mind waiting till Monday. What if when you reject the request, you can send a short message with a reason why you rejected it? Much like how transferring items works.

My king always runs out of stud slots before the week is over, sometimes within the first 2 or 3 days after they've been replenished. I even get several requests after all my king's slots are used up, and I have to reject them (which I really hate doing). I wish the amount of stud slots left were more visible to players sending the requests. 'Cause as it is now, it's very easy to miss because it blends in with the rest of the text. Maybe making the stud slots bold, a different color? Or maybe in one of those green, blue or red "alert" boxes? Either way, I support!

Alchemist is always out of slots within three days; it breaks my wee little heart to see people whose lionesses won't be in heat anymore come Monday request. ;^;
Having an option to toggle it on/off would be great, given that I do let people request on Sunday and get priority come rollover, but on some weeks I simply don't have the time and don't roll often enough to let people know they'll have to wait a couple days/go see another stud. <333

50th supported ;D
I support this fully! It's inconvenient to remove studding each time you're out of slots, and most people don't realize you're out of slots for this week ;w;

Yea along as the toggle is apart of it. Then I'll support. I always have my slots open Sunday night for Monday morning so some people who wait can still stud to my boy. Support!

Edit :Thought I was on my main account this king is a potato

I'd rather have it just hidden, although I myself often send stud requests to those who have 0/15 on, say, a Saturday, and shoot them a quick PM asking them to get to it once their slots refill.

I find that I don't often use my bookmarks, and use it to stop me from forgetting which stud I want to use 2 days later.

No support. Some people are entirely willing to wait til they replenish. If you don't want people sending you requests once you hit 0, just turn your studding off. Easy.

I still really wish we had something like this, because a lot of people don’t think to check slots unfortunately, and I feel bad just rejecting, so some weeks I end up sending a lot of PMs explaining slots are gone etc etc :(

Personally I’d really prefer some kind of 'are you sure? This lion currently has no stud slots remaining for this week' automated message popup though, as opposed to making it impossible to send requests at all.

Just because I like to leave mine open so that if/when slots run out towards the end of the week, people can send in requests early on Saturday/Sunday or whatever, if they want to be first in line to reserve a slot on Monday. That seems relatively popular (or at least I tend to get people doing it fairly regularly) so it’d be a shame to lose that ability

I support. I can see the usefulness in something like this for others, though I usually send a message after a rejections explaining why.
