Entering StormPride Territory

Seviper had heard of the new king in StormKing's old territory. He wanted to see if Thunderfang still ran the cub adoptions from Stormking. He arrived at the den with Falling Silver and Masked Stripes. Curious about the cubs, Masked Stripes started to wrestle with some of the older cubs until all of the younger ones pounced on her at the same time. In that moment, Falling Silver noticed the one cub that held back. She walked over to talk to her and saw her beautiful markings. She called Seviper over and he approved of the cub. They had come with a food bundle and they offered it to Thunderfang

The young Smilus king was delighted to see one of his now-Grandpaw's allies. "It's been a little while, hasn't it, Seviper? Can you believe I'm the king now?" His opal eyes sparkled with delight. "Sure, that's fine. Thank you for the donation!"

Chrysos padded quietly into the clearing, glancing at the cubs tussling in the area, his sides bleeding from the thorny entrance. Ouch. He'd have to get that treated later. As he was searching for the king, a tan dappled lion plowed right into him, knocking the dull golden king right over. Chrysos grunted, not expecting so much force from a young teenager.
"Oh my gosh, are you okay? I'm so sorry, I should've watched where I was going more carefully." There was genuine concern in the tan lion's eyes. "My name's Minty by the way, nice to meet you!" Chrysos gently replied with his own name and agreed that it was nice to meet him as well, and went on to find King Thunderfang.
Chrysos had heard stories about this legendary king, a strong, charismatic, and majestic leader who ruled over a pride for three generations. He was excited to meet Thunderfang, even a bit nervous. He looked around, expecting to find a massive smilus, but was instead greeted by a small cub, one that appeared to be much younger than all of the others. However, this cub had a mature confidence that sparkled in his opalescent eyes.
"Welcome stranger", said the young cub, who had a suprisingly deep and velvety voice. "My name is King Thunderfang. I'm assuming that you're here to adopt a cub?" Chrysos gawked at the young cub. This small lion was the ruler of an entire pride? How is this possible?
"You seem surprised about something. It's my size, isn't it?" Chrysos nodded, too bewildered to respond. "Don't worry, I'm not actually a young cub, I'm three years old. I bought a shaman-enchanted crystal that allows me to disguise myself by refracting light and enchanting it to make this form solid rather than my actual one. It doesn't work perfectly though, see?" The young cub shifted his position a few times, revealing glimmers of his true form, which was much larger than Chrysos himself. He flushed with embarrassment, having just learned that such a thing existed.
"I had the shamans enchant a small opal point so I could wear it as a necklace. It costed me a hefty penny, but it was totally worth it."
"Wow, th-that's so cool," stammered Chrysos, in complete awe. Thunderfang flashed him a smile and thanked him for the compliment. A couple silent seconds passed.
"Anyways, you came here to adopt a cub?" Chrysos had almost forgot about that during their conversation. He pondered for a bit. You see, Chrysos was originally looking for a lioness to bring into his pride, but after meeting that young male he changed his mind.
"Would it be possible for me to adopt Minty?" From their short reaction, Chrysos had seen a unique optimism in his eyes, even a subtle chivalry behind the intelligence that glowed in those frosted green eyes. Upon hearing his name, Minty strolled over to their area.
"What's going on?" Minty asked, the hope and fear swelling inside of him radiating off of him.
"Chrysos here would like to adopt you. Would you like that?" Thunderfang said calmly.
"Oh my gosh really?! Wow, that's amazing!" Minty then looked at Thunderfang and cleared his throat. "Sorry, I don't mean that I want to leave your pride, but I'm really happy because I get to meet new lions and lionesses and I know you don't really have space for us and I don't want to get sent away and -"
"It's fine, I'm not offended. You don't have to worry," Thunderfang chuckled. Minty relaxed, his eyes shimmering with happiness.
"Since caring for these cubs must take a lot of resources, I'd like to offer something in return," Chrysos said, ecstatic to welcome such a wonderful cub into his pride. "Would you want a black stallion in return?"

(It's all right, you did pretty good as well! Though, with most roleplays, each person makes their own character(s) speak and do actions. I'm not upset or anything, just a heads up for you in the future. And I'm very impressed with you adding Thunderfang's decor in. 10/10! ))

The Smilus king was surprised. "A-are you sure you want to donate that? For one cub?" He couldn't believe his ears! A Black Stallion being offered. It was like a dream come true!

"It's no problem, I'm happy to give it to you for such an amazing cub!" Chrysos smiled warmly, delighted to have such an amazing young lion join his pride. This was actually quite a pleasurable experience if he excluded the cuts he received from the thorny entrance. Thunderfang and Minty embraced for the last time before the king bid the two of them farewell. Minty pranced gleefully alongside Chrysos, ready to be welcomed into his new pride...

King Prototype gently trots on the pride lands. As he trotted, he saw a beautiful young lioness, thinking it was a wild lioness, he approached, wanting to claim her as his when he noticed that she already belonged to a pride, a beautiful, majestic pride at that. He signed in disappointment, but upon closer look, he found that there were too many cubs, in fact, so many that the king of the pride had wanted to find them new homes.

Prototype was curious, therefore, deciding to have a closer inspection of the cubs, he scanned the cubs, one by one, a few catching his sharp eyes, but none seem to have caught his heart, until...

A young cub, looking to be about 6 months old, her glossy coat shining with brilliance of steele, with dark cheetah markings to boot. She was absolutely gorgeous, and he wanted her to be in his pride, to raise her as his own, and someday have her as his heir's Queen.

He looked down, in front of her, her name written in the sand of the pride lands, Luna. "Luna...such a beautiful name for a young beautiful lady. Would you like to join my pride, young one? It is still scarce, with only a few pride members, but it is what I call home." With that, he gave the young girl a toothy grin.

He follows the signs and smell of lions gets stronger. He felt himself tense. He’d been attacked before and he’d almost died. He looked around but could only see happy cubs and lions. He focused on an albino cub that looked a few months old. He watched the albino and walked over to the cub. “Hello” he said trying not to look dangerous. He wanted to smile, but had never been with a cub before so he didn’t know how to act. He showed his neck so the cub knew he trusted him. (It exposes the neck bone and lions can break it not that a cub could but whatev... I’m being rude aren’t I..) he looked at the cub. “I like your coat. It’s like snow” he hoped he wasn’t being awkward. (He has a big heart and he only had one member a female but got another from the giving tree so 2 in total) he had a small pride but wanted to be known as kind not threatening or mean and blood thirsty.

Carson stalked into the clearing snarling to himself, he had better things to do than go looking for ladies. He had training todo, a kingdom to run.. well once he completed his training. He had been sent to pick out future broodmothers, lionesses who would watch over his cubs. Maybe even bare his cubs because soon Novid would retire and Carson would become king.

Padding around slowly the young smilus looked from lioness to lioness, only finding two he found attractive. Siam and Dusty would make lovely additions to his pride. They will produce strong and beautiful cubs for him someday. Walking up to Thunderfang he offered 36SB each.
