Animals have sadly been born without faces before, And they don't live for very long. If this happened, It would not be much of a stretch for lions to be born with no face. That's where my idea comes in. Faceless muties! It will die the rollover after birth no matter when it was born, Due to not being able to eat or breath. Health updates Your lioness notices her cub. It had no eyes, No mouth, And no nose. Your lioness is revolted by the disturbing sight, But also worried about the poor things life. But there is still hope. It has its umbilical cord still. Rollover after birth: Cub died last night due to lethal facial deformities The cub would just sorta lay there, Similar to the cyclopia pose. The cub, As said, Would lack any facial features. I understand if you dislike my idea. If you do, Tell me why. Ideas by other people- It would die in a few irl hours. I agree with this because it would be a great way to control lioden population |

I would be horrified to find a faceless cub. But life must go on. Supporting! 0 players like this post! Like? |

No support. I don't like it that there are lethal mutations in Lioden at all, so I definitely don't want another one added. 0 players like this post! Like? |

True, But lioden time is different. Plus, Rollover after birth is not that long. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Yeah, it could always have been born like one minute before rollover or something. At least that's the story :P I supported :) 0 players like this post! Like? |

This is the most severe form of holoprosencephaly (the same genetic defect that causes cyclopia). Since someone mentioned how it could breathe. It would get air until its umbilical cord is cut. So I guess the update messages could relate to that too. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I support! That'd be a really cool lethal! And I agree about the getting air through umbilical cord - the newborn doesnt start breathing untill it's born, so it would get anything it needed from the mother untill the moment it is born. And like cyclopia, it would die in 1 rollover, very shortly after being born. Many mutants die shortly after birth due to breathing issues, actually. 1 player likes this post! Like? It would be cool, but I don’t think it would be nice to have a deadly mutation because then what’s the point? It just dies anyway. Also, you might have paid for a stud or nesting and just wasted it to find out your cub dies even if you protect it. 0 players like this post! Like? Sirius, you're missing the point of lethal muties! There are already some, and they can in fact be saved - if given Jellyfish, they will be frozen and remain in the pride forever. People love them because they're unusual, rare, and have a sad/tragic deformity great for stories. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I’m kinda new so I didn’t know there were already lethal mutations. So I guess it’s cool, even though it’d be creepy hah 0 players like this post! Like? |
