i think there should be a new, better way to get rid of adult lions you don't want anymore - namely ncls. chasing them just cycles them back into the system (i think?) which leads to a very long chain of hot potato when the lions in question are ugly and/or worthless.
killing/reserving lions /is/ an option for wiping lions, but my problem is that it costs energy to do so. i like being able to use my energy for exploring thank you - something as small as a karma boost isn't much incentive for me to waste that energy

my want is to essentially put some worth into ncls.

this is just off the top of my head, but take a page from some other popular pet sims:
take a little bit of time to send your ncls out on hunts in order to raise their level, then give an option to send the lion away. grateful for the experience living and working with your pride gave them, they leave you a parting gift relative to their level.
some ideas for rewards: a small amount of sb (10-50?), snake scent, catnip, honeycombs, "snack" carcasses; broken drones/torts and exclusive decors for the higher levels?

doing this would wipe the lion from the system much like killing/reserving does, but would be more rewarding in my opinion
