I love this idea. I love to gift friends for their birthday and in December and sometimes just for the hell of it and this would just give one more gift option. I'd love to be able to do this instead of sending GB because this way it's just a little more personal.

Why not just a "buy for..." option that automatically sends the feature to the other account to cut out that middle man, too?

Support but I'm with Pip on this. Instead of having to redeem a code, id rather just be able to "buy for" and put in the players ID.
I can easily see new players or forgetful players not realising what to do to redeem or forgetting to redeem, and then you've just spent 5+GB to get lost/stuck and never redeemed.
Id rather it automatically give them their subscription at the time you make the purchase.

^ It sounds like it'd be much easier and safer for everyone if you simply 'gift ID#x Y feature', as opposed to sending out messages with special codes.

What if the user you'd intended to give it to decides they don't need it and trade the code itself to someone else? If it's a code as you're describing; numbers and letters and whatnot that anyone could enter into X area to get a Feed/Play All or Auto Nesting, they'd just need to screenshot it or copy it and toss it to someone else. I could see some hurt feelings coming of it. ^^

'Gift ID#x Y feature' could also work if you want to toss one of them onto your side account, but don't want to roll that day or go through the extra steps of transfering the GB, switching accounts then buying it. Just buy it for your side and you don't need to worry about forgetting. [tiny steps, I know, but isn't this idea all about cutting out the middleman and making things simpler? <333]

Support! It'd be great if, along with gifting the feature directly instead of a code you can trade with someone else, you could either accept or reject the gift. As in, you get a notification saying [player] gifted you a month of Feed all, Play all, and then you can either accept the gift - and thus enjoy the feature for as long as it's around - or reject it, and thus the purchase isn't valid and the gifter gets back the GB spent.

I like this idea, but I have concerns similar to the people who think that a code has a few too many problems, involving screenshots and such, people being forgetful, and so forth. And then there's that handy (sometimes) entire inbox/notification deletion feature, that many people use, meaning that a code could be sent: and never even seen.

I would instead suggest that the gift be sent to the other person after being bought, resulting a message saying:
[Playernamehere] has gifted you [Feed All Play All]. The middleman is still eliminated, but that way, you ensure that your gift goes to who it was meant for, and there'll be less chance of a code being deleted/forgotten on accident.

I would really like a feature like this in some form, though IA that a direct gift is better than a code. I'm sometimes struck by the inclination to gift someone cub stages or feed all/play all, but of course it'd be weird and no fun to just send GB.

Codes are too complicated. Just make it like dA where you can hit a button and give them the thing directly.
