Custom decors have been around for 4-ish years, and at the beginning, there were a period of a few weeks where one could make a background. This was later revised in the rules, and I dug back in old news post, where it doesn't mention WHY it's disallowed. I would like to suggest allowing players to create custom backgrounds again (unless there is a specfic reason brought up by an admin/coding issues) |

I believe it was disallowed because background is a very tricky subject, art must fit close enough to Lioden and on backgrounds, it's really hard to achive because they need to be big and detailed. After dealing with a few upset users whose backgrounds were rejected, they I believe put this rule in place so people dont spend too much time on something that is highly likely to be rejected! 0 players like this post! I do not support. That snowy Africa though... Neeeed... Besides the point. We are still allowed to do sky decors. We have crescent moon, celestial sky, eclipse, all sort of sky ones, that act similar to most BG. A ton of BG dont have a whole lot of ground change (which kinda annous me...) So it'll just look like a BG with the same bottom that many non custom already have anyways. And you can always just submjt a bottom piece to. Put them together.. And good. Sorry if I was confusing. Its hard for me to explain what I mean 0 players like this post! Like? |
