Pumkin walks through the grass with a spring in her step, looking at everything she passes with a glint in her eye. As she walks, she hears a noise. A strange... rhythmic sound. Stepping closer, ears pricked, she licks her lips - excitement causing her to hesitate. Bounding forward, she practically causes a poor old bunny to have a heart attack! The bunny scampers away, leaving behind a hole in the dirt - some half uneaten roots sticking out of it, the sun glistening off of the moist juices. Does she... A. Eat the roots. B. Pumkin decides she wants to know what they taste like. Trotting over to the abandoned snack, she leans down and takes a bite - immediately spitting it out in disgust. These roots were bitter - very bitter. Hurridly, she looks around for water, or anything to get the awful taste out of her mouth. Quickly racing around, she accidentally sticks her back paw into.. right into the poor rabbit's den! The rabbit glares at her through the hole, its eyes piercing right into Pumkin's soul. Does she... The rabbit grumbles grumpily at Pumkin, but in an agreeing tone. Slowly, the rabbit gets out of the den, shooting glances at her every chance they got. Hopping over to his previous snack, he rips out the roots from the small hole, chewing them up ferociously. Surprisingly, he starts to spit it out onto the ground! She watches curiously as he proceeds to make a small pile of the chewed root. The long-eared mammal takes a long look at Punkin, then proceeds to walk away, root mush in hand, watching her as if she were meant to follow. Does she... A. Follow the rabbit. B. Leave. C. Pumkin follows the rabbit, wanting to know the mysterious ways of the stranger. Soon, they slow to a stop, back at the rabbit's slightly disheveled den. They give her a meaningful look as they proceed to slap the root mush on their den - layering on top of... Oh! What looks to be previously dried layers of the same thing. This hardened dirt is what kept their den together when Pumkin accidentally stepped into it - thank goodness! The rabbit finishes his work and looks over at her briefly before disappearing into his den - only to return and place a strange object in front of her. Looking closely, she realizes it's a bumblebee wing! The rabbit grumbles something about how he wants it out of his den - and to get off his lawn. Does she... A. Take the wing and run! B. All she got in return was an angry grumble. The rabbit walks into its den, leaving you, and the bumblebee wing, alone. Investigating the weird root.. stuff.. Pumkin continues on - grabbing the wing on her way. She notices a couple birds flying around, a really pretty blue flower, and another odd noise - this time, however, it sounds familiar. Attempting to go around the bush, she is met by a large boulder. She can still hear the sound that is drawing her attention - but this rock is so big! Sucking in a deep breath and letting it out in a gust, she jumps - finding a small ledge on the rock. Still more to go on this little adventure, she extends a paw up to another indent, pulling up her weight with minimal effort. Now on top of the rock, she can see where the noise is coming from - a nest of Otter Dogs pups! Should she... A. Go say hi! B. Wait on the rock until the mom comes back. C.
