Nirah didn't force your lion to be gay. He just was for himself. I was thrilled for the one openly gay representation the LGBTQ+ community was granted. I mean, gay people could make the same argument about every character in Aphrodisia (except for the recent encounter of the grooming lionesses) forcing heterosexuality down our throats. The main thing for me is just grammatical stuff when it comes to him.

I have an issue with the fact that Aped is a pedophilic, incestuous rapist. I feel that a writer could find a way to keep him evil and diabolical without..... that.

One thing I'll say for the July storyline, at least from what I saw, there were plenty of options. That may be what makes it seem better than other events (that are just one thing, everyone has the same experience).

Nirah admiring me makes me uncomfortable and pretty angry.

And I'm not trying to be homophobic in any way, I'm part of the LGBT community.

I like Nirah, but mainly . . . bc my lion's name is literally Big Butter Daddy. I think he's funny. Big ol gay boy.

Tbh . . . I expected a lot more backlash on this suggestion (I mean, no one can deny that half the people on here worship the ground the admins walk on, and don't want to hear anything about any of them doing something poorly) and I'm really glad to see that it's mostly just talking about what should be different.

My issue with Nirah is that he's a walking stereotype. His entire identity seems to just be him flirting with your lion in ways that people in real life probably would think you're creepy as fuck for, to be honest. He's more like a character out of a yaoi fangirl's fanfiction than a realistic character. I'm not saying all characters have to be ~*deep and realistic*~, but he's just not fleshed out at all. Granted, it was his debut so that could change.

Despite what it may sound like, Nirah being heavily implied (though it may as well be confirmed) to be gay for your lion isn't what people have an issue with (at least, I hope not) -- it's the way he's portrayed and written.

Tbh, I really hope we don't get that many more romance-inspired plots. Wenet is similar to you flirting with her and Nirah is flirting with you. I know they aren't that romance-y but it kind of reminds me when someone only wants to perform a romance filled RP. It tends to get boring and loses interest fast.

The only event/character I have a problem with is Nirah. He rubs me the wrong way and there are no options to get rid of him or oppose him if you dont like him. He is forced on you if you want to participate in the event.

My favorite characters are v'kai and his brother and wenet. I think both those events are well written with good , enduring characters.

I like the lion angels in the October event.

@Asher & everyone, I haven't been on Lioden long, but I totally agree about the item description. How am I supposed to know what the Egg Yolk does if all it says is something like 'Yummy nutrients for your lion!' ?!(I know that's not the Egg Yolk description, just an example. c;) How can I know what this does and if I want to buy it?!! You shouldn't have to look up on the Internet what an item is and search around for what it does!!! The whole point of an item description is to tell you what an items DOES!! It's ridiculous you have to go through that effort.

Also, having someone to (at the very least) check over for grammatical or punctual errors would be an improvement. I think that some storylines need to be more interesting. Take Wenet for example. I like the character, but the part where you have to steal eggs? It's a little irritating that stealing the eggs was the only option, besides just not continuing with Wenet anymore. A choice would be nice!

I have to disagree regarding this month's event being well written. As Annika said, it sucks that your only option is to steal the eggs from Wenet (regardless of your lion's personality or karma) and it's weird for me that when you do, it fucks with your impression, even if it fixes it immediately.

And I've always seen Wenet as being more of a eccentric scientist, and there's a completely plausible way for you to still be able to claim her (if you could choose an option to not have the romantic plot) in that she could want to stay and study more.

Wenet, too, is a forced romance-themed storyline, I'd like to point out (as a couple of people did, I think...?). I personally have no interest in Wenet's obvious interest in my lion. If we have to tone down Nirah, an argument could be made that we should tone down Wenet, too.
And, god, I HATE that I HAVE to steal the eggs from Wenet. My lion has good karma, so this is 100% out-of-character for him. I also made a suggestion about changing how boring and anticlimactic the whole April storyline is. Wenet's like, "WE'VE GOTTA STOP THIS BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!" and all she's taking about is just rabbits breeding. And, after some plants are left around, we spend half the month just taking her quests.

There is some substance to the Wenet character and shes also not saying some annoying phrase at the end of every sentence. Nirah is grating.
