Pretty simple suggestion. I've noticed, as a writer, that Lioden's events are . . . Badly written. Not to be rude to whoever's doing it, but I'm not wrong; as someone who writes professionally it hurts my heart.

Other sites have paid writers that do dialogue, wiki pages, everything. I know because that's what I do. It's not as expensive as one might think and a big site like LD could afford it.

I think that there needs to be someone hired to write storylines for the events.

If you support, great, if you don't, whatever.

I'm not sure if this is ever going to get forwarded or read by anyone higher-up, but I would give my left kidney to fix every single typo and grammatical error on this site and the Wiki for free.

I only work part-time. I would have the time to dedicate to this.
I love this game.
I did two years of an English degree (if that counts for anything lol.)

I want the best for this site and for it to look as polished and professional as possible.

(I mean this in the kindest, most humble way possible - I just want to see this site be the best it can be! I mean no ill-will to the people that have written it originally!)

You 100% have my support on this. I'm tired of doing the same quest for Wenet and following this 'plot'. It's irritating to constantly see Wenet complaining about the Fluffball epidemic. The 'story-line' also ended abruptly and left me a little upset, along with being forced to steal her eggs. Wenet could be a much better character if there was actually some depth to her. She really only flirts with your lion and not much else. I also feel like some events have confusing plots? I don't know if it's just me, but the event/month with V'kai and his brother confused me a lot. I didn't like the fact that we had to choose sides and whatnot. But, I don't really remember too much about this specific plot as I didn't want to finish it.

With the item descriptions, I have to agree. Not too long ago, I had to Google what Egg Yolks do. It defeats the whole purpose of a description. And it's the same with breeding items and feet.

You might like this suggestion, too, @Artes. I agree with you totally on the Wenet thing.

@August same. I mean I wouldn't write a whole storyline for free but fixing typos? Grammatical errors? I'd love to.

I love writing and have done it for a long time. I'd 10/10 love to write for Lioden for payments of GB! Could you imagine? XD
I would also do grammatical corrections for free, at least from time-to-time.

Literally just mentioned this in another thread. For example October can definitely use it.

Nirah was honestly kinda cringe-worthy with how he was presented and his interest in the player character honestly seemed out of nowhere (Wenet as well but at least with her the quests kind of imply a bond where she grows to like you over the course of the event) and him saying "My dude." after practically every sentence instead of an occasional saying did NOT help at all.

That is true, the thing with Nirah's "my dude". That was a liiiiittle too frequently said. XD
I think it's perfectly valid of him to have a crush on the player right off the bat (that's reality. He likes you based on your looks. That happens IRL.)

That's a fair point. It just feels like players are being forced to tolerate him though and honestly having someone approach me like he does in a real life setting would make me very uncomfortable and not everyone's lions would take kindly to it either.

I feel like both Wenet and Nirah should be a bit more open to interpretation for those who may not wish to be stuck in a romantic sub-plot. I feel V'kai pulled it off well for how the event writing goes. For those who wanted it to be a gay crush they could easily imagine it being so, and for those who wanted to have a platonic "little brother" deal like I did we got that too with some imagination. Even things like the grooming lionesses in Feb could be interpreted as two asexual lioness pals or sisters if one wishes them to be so or a gay pairing for those that want that.

Nirah (and to a somewhat lesser extent Wenet) just slams you into it and its kinda uncomfy for those not wanting to go that route. There's nothing wrong with representation at all but i feel like the way Nirah was portrayed was, as someone before me said, very stereotypical and it just comes off as forced or cringy imo.

EDIT: Actually looking back Wenet doesn't seem entirely too bad apart from you claiming her, I can't remember if you can reject claiming her but I feel like being able to reject claiming her and her advances (politely) could be a nice option to have for those who have gay kings or simply don't wish to have her.

I want Aphrodisia toned down, too. I know that February is themed around being all romo, but... I hate how sexually-oriented the whole thing is. And how it's... literally only straight couples. As a pansexual person, I just... feel underrepresented as a whole.

Yeah it can be a bit much, kinda gets to the point where I can't explore in public with all the animals banging. And being on a phone means I can't block the images either. I'll try to wait and see what the story-line for it will be though, maybe once there's a story-line to it it might tone down the sexual aspects of it or introduce characters that could be an opportunity for some representation for folks of different sexualities. It could be interesting to have an asexual character amid all the love in the air for example.

Yes, yes, yes! I want an asexual character! And his best friend could be a male Pon, who totally wants some of that action, but doesn't really get any, so he befriended the ace! XD

While I do find some of the characters generally unlikable, I think that's okay (there are some people I find generally unlikable too, so that's just life).

Stuff like this annoys the crap outta me every time I see it: With a graceful lope, ______ passes you as you inspect the pride. Her rhythmic pawsteps adding to her feline gracility. I have to assume this sentence is not meant to read "Her rhythmic pawsteps adding to her feline (slenderness/simplicity)." I'm sure it's supposed to mean "grace", but the person who wrote it didn't know the difference between graceful and gracile- or maybe didn't know there is a difference. It's tiny stuff like this that's really why you hire a professional.

Those grammatical and usage errors are not okay.

Is that even a word? "Gracility"? Because I think "gracefulness" would fit better.

Yes, it refers to slenderness, as opposed to stockiness. IE. bonobos are a more gracile form of chimpanzee.

Unless it's being used in the literary sense, in which case it refers to simplicity of style. I... assume this is definitely not the thing it means.
