I'd just love for there to be a way to opt out of messages from certain clans, since some send multiple messages a day, and i personally, not sure about other people, dont like it. Usual answer: Just leave the clan then! My response: I'd rather not, because i do like being in the clan and participating in the threads, i just dont like the messages! Within the comments, we have come up with some good ideas! ❀ Create an 'important message' feature, so that even if you are opted-out, you will still get messages if they are marked important! ❀ Place a cooldown/limit on 'important' marked messages to prevent abuse of the feature/spam ❀ Idea from myself- create a different tab just for clan messages within PMs rather than grouping it with game notifications, so we dont miss things like stud requests, rollover summaries, and raffle endings. And input is appreciated and welcome <3 If you dont support, PLEASE post why. I'd honestly like to know, rather than just getting a no. If you dont feel comfortable posting here, please PM me about it! Add-Ons from comments: Hannah (#134755) "Maybe an option the sender can use to say if it's important or not. If it isn't, people with messages disabled will not get it. But if it is, it will be sent out to all members of the clan." "Maybe something for members of the clan to vote that the leader is sending out to many unimportant messages and marking them as important. If enough users select this, the leader's limit will be made smaller, or their cooldown longer." Espeon (#142957) "I do think a little checkbox on whether or not the message is important or not would be good, but I also think it could easily be abused by people checking it anyways for things definitely not important. Maybe a limit on how many "important" messages that people can send out a day? or maybe some form of cool down?" |

Wouldn't people always click Important? So everyone sees there messages? Its rare when a message sent out ISN'T important. ![]() |

Maned- We also just proposed a cooldown on 'important' marked messages so it avoids spam ![]() |

It would make them ensure that they have everything in. We're just trying to avoid spam. We also proposed a limit of how many 'important' messages that can be sent a day, such as 3, just to allow space for in case they forgot something! ![]() |

If they miss something out it's their fault, and they could just send it when the cooldown is over / they still haven't reached their limit. Another suggestion: Maybe something for members of the clan to vote that the leader is sending out to many unimportant messages and marking them as important. If enough users select this, the leader's limit will be made smaller, or their cooldown longer. ![]() |

No support. Sorry but clan messages can be very important+ you’d miss out on activities, overall it defeats the purpose and I say no. ![]() |

Pallon- Thats why we have 'important message' options. Can you reread over the entire thread and then reconsider? c: We have solutions posted! ![]() |

For the important messages idea- not bad but it would firstly, kinda suck cuz nobody would read other messages- and lots of clans wouldn’t even send them. It’s kinda worthless. Because then certain clans can just use th option the whole time anyways. ![]() |

Pallon- Again, please reread. We have a solution to that as well, in the main part of the thread, in fact. ![]() |

The cool down and limit seems like then certain clans couldn’t get out what they really needed too if something came out. The whole thing seems like too big of a deal- I wouldn’t be in the clan if they spam messages unless you like their intent :) ![]() |

As a clan leader who bothers my clan every few days, I can agree with this! ![]() |

Pallon- As i said in the main part of this thread, i like participating in these clans, and to not want to leave, im just not interested in spam. If they forget something in their important messages, its simply on them. To me, it is a big deal, as spam can cause you to miss certain things in your inbox like stud requests and rollover summaries, which are incredibly important, at least to me. ![]() Edited on 20/04/18 @ 14:47:35 by Desrever 🌙 #BambiBaby 🌈 (#104203) |

I’m gonna have to say no support, sorry ;u; though I think it might be a better idea to have a separate inbox for clan messages, perhaps? ![]() |
