I've got to say, I especially love the look of it on that Smilus...the Xanthic base isn't really my favorite, but I love it as a mane color. I think it's very pretty, and since it's based off of a base color we already have I don't see any reason it couldn't be added. Support!

Sorry I'm going no support I despise the base and think the mane is just too much...I love every other bright/outlandish base but olive and xanthic are not my thing...most manes thed to stay fairly mellow unless it's an applied base...xanthic is a custom so in my opinion shouldnt be a mane

I understand not wanting the mane color for yourself, there are plenty of official colors I don't care to have in my pride either - but that's just it, I choose to not have them because I'm more than entitled not to, but I wouldn't try to prevent them from being made or owned by others when different people really do like them.

My examples are far from the final product of course, I'm sure Xylax would do it far better justice to the original base color than I ever could. It's just a humble photoshop edit so viewers have a basic idea, many/most user suggestions don't come out exactly like the suggestion image anyway - they're usually way better.

Not sure what "custom" has to do with it. I've bred Xanthic cubs completely on accident, it's not a combo base or anything. I wouldn't care if the mane color was an app or breed-only as long as I could somehow achieve one, it would mean a lot to me.

Love it sooo much. It has that rich bright golden tone i really wanted when i was looking for manes to go with my kima king. Much support, especially if it gets to be custom, which is good when you can't just breed it in.

I doubt it would be custom (Xanthic base isn't, after all) but even as a mane app, I'm sure plenty of people would be happy to hand over some GB for it. That would make my breeding projects a lot easier, but I'd be interested even if it was breed-only like Xanthic base, haha. : )

I actually never lined the Xanthic base personally, but as a mane it looks quite lovely! It's a very strong, rich gold, and might be one of the few gold colors I like as a whole. Full support!
