It would be fun if the messages were directly related to that submale's personality, in the same way the cub training text is. That way if you have multiple subs, you would get varied messages based on which submale you send out.

Support! Having my sub come home having apparently 'found nothing' but with some extra stats always makes me wonder what he was up to; give us little flavor texts! Could be like the blurbs you get from exploring in the special areas in July.

Hell, blurbs somehow being tied to stats gained (+ the five personality types) would be awesome; say, specific responses for 0 stats(the lazy bum just took a nap), 1-3 stats(he actually did his job, yay), 4-7 stats (above and beyond!) and one for 8+ (he ended world hunger and fostered world peace) could give an inkling of what he's doing in addition to bringing home items or 'nothing' but stats. =P
