Hello everyone! I've been thinking, and came up with an idea. My idea is simply this: Sex changed lions have a very rare chance of gaining a mane mutation. Why I think this would be a good idea: Personally I believe many would enjoy this idea as it adds on another way to gain a mutation, as previously mentioned it would be a very rare chance. Not only that but it could add another sense of 'realism' to the game, how? well think of this: Your messing with the hormones in said lions body so what if something didn't entirely settle right with the lion causing a mutation. Lionesses typically don't have manes so what if they continued to not have manes as a male, and what if the males turned to female kept some of their mane, but the variant of mane mutation for lionesses could be based off their mane type. Feel free to leave your personal opinion on this idea, thank you for reading! |

I like it. Mane mutations aren't super rare anyways, so a few extra won't be a big deal imo, and it would be a nice touch! ![]() |

I support this so freaking much! And I think hormone imbalance is a great way to explain it. ![]() |

Personally, I love the idea. I don't mind my sex changed females having manes, because It's one of my favorite mutations. The chance would have to be pretty rare tho, so we won't have a sudden explosion in muties. ![]() |

yes, it should definitely be a rare thing. although I'm not really against making more simple mutations more common ![]() |

That sounds like it could be neat, but they should be unique mutations as opposed to already existing ones. Like having a female changed to a male won't simply give it Maneless as that mutation exists on its own. ![]() |

When I saw the title I was a bit sceptical and like hmm... but reading it that makes total sense, especially as a male lion wouldn't show the female mane mutation, whereas when the male becomes female it would show! What about female-male lions? How about maneless :D ![]() Edited on 03/06/18 @ 13:52:53 by xXDruidXx (#74535) |
