The Spider, or Beware The Spider, is a newly made cat roleplay.

Basic Info
The Spider follows you and your compaions as you attempt to escape from a maze-like cave, avoiding creatures, solving puzzles and passing obsticles presented to you by Ballad, a mavelvolent being. These obsticles are called 'stages' and each is harder than the last.

Plot
Years before the dawn of man, and yet years after the extinction of the human race, a small band of loners all are stricken with the same sickness; A state near that of death over comes all of them.
Their souls are sucked from their bodies, taken to feed an unexplainable, all powerful being. It takes their memories, their passions, everything that makes them, well, them. The being had been known for generations, told to take the souls from the wicked or scheming. The souls of the loners were consumed, but their bodies remained. The being revealed it's name to be Ballad, striking a deal with the souls. Should they escape it's grasp, it would send them back to the land of the living.
It sent the group into a cavern, sending a minion and a spider with a symbolic task to complete. For every failure there would a death or loss, and for every success there would be a life or reward.

-They are met with a wall of symbols shortly after waking. Curious, they all inspect a separate one. Color flies all around and they are met, face to face, with Ballad.
