Would anyone be interested in this creature? yes. y e s. these are hella cool and aaa yes!! How much would this creature be worth? ahh. I’m cheap so I wouldn’t be able to provide an honest price. Depending on the complexity and colouring, I’d say ... 5-10GB honestly? And 1-5GB biasedly c’: for the simple ones, maybe? Should I make a child stage for them? oof are you planning on making them breedable? cause I own an adoptable species myself (Icagens), and honestly let me tell you, creating the first gen adopts are fun and all, but breeding. aaa, breeding, it just takes up half of my life and makes it so stressful >.< aging up from kitten stages too. of course, it’s fun and all, but still really stressful. wouldn’t recommend starting with breeding until you get a hang of it and have time for it! if, or when, you start breeding though, child stages would make it more interactive and fun imo, but that may require aging up and redoing the design on an adult lineart and that takes time so just depends on how much time you’re willing to set aside for this species ;^; thanks for coming to my ted talk lmao I wrote too much sorry 0 players like this post! Don't worry at all, I love all the input~ ^^ I really want to make it affordable for people, So I'll just have to put some simple ones up too at a price people will be able to afford, Since I don't have much at all right now and really want some adoptables I can't affort yet, Heheh So I might make some simpler ones with around a 5GB buyout, And as Deathkeeper suggested up to 15GB depending on complexity I might make more intricate fancy ones worth up ta that much I do have an adoptable that is breedable right now, But it is just flipped images for each gender, And very simple mutations I've been makin bases for a few years, Just never really did anythin with them, So making, Recolouring, And adding onto them is somethin I've been doing for a while and have fun with For the child stage, It would jus be a single base for either gender, Not exactly one that ages up, And not at the start and most likely an optional thing Thank you very much again for all your input, I'm really glad ta hear what you say I'd love ta hear some of your experience making adoptables, If you'd be willing ta share? 0 players like this post! Sounds good! and you’re welcome, never really replied on adoptables interest checks so I thought I might as well start helping people out lolol Sure! The Icagens are ... my first species I think? yeah. started it on Feb 22nd this year - it’s not very old but not new either so I’m pretty used to it by now. used to it as in its easier to make them and develop them mostly single-handedly. At first I was really new to making adopts so I’d colour each without a layer to alpha lock, leading to having to erase the colours out of line every time, and so there was lots of mistakes and such. also didn’t have markings or bases, it was kinda just a solid design, which isn’t too bad. Now I have special layers where the whole ‘gen is just covered in a solid colour, then I duplicate it every time I make one and alpha lock it so I don’t colour out of line and- well, you’ve probably heard this before and use this method too, no big deal. It just makes everything so much easier and less stressful! I’ve also included bases and markings which came before breeding, and multiple items for mutation chances, gender of litter .. etc etc. Idk what you want to know but yeah, story of my 0 players like this post! I'm really glad that you're starting ta help, I've seen your species, If I wasn't saving what I had for possibly makin a clan I would try ta bid on yours I might actually have that bookmarked, Heheh~ Yeah, That does sound like it would be an awful start What I've been doin in making marks on a Clipping Source layer, I don't know what it's called in other programs though Pretty much stops me from colouring outside Clipping Source, And can have multiple layers with one clipping source, So I can have transparent spots, An toggle various marking layers an lock their alpha so I can recolour them Otherwise I always had little bits a mark layers that would stick outside the base no matter how hard I tried, Heh Unfortunately my bases get ta be over 40 layers, So there's a lotta space taken up by a base, But real easy ta use for me and ta edit I only figured that out a few months ago about the program I use, But I have no clue how ta do it in my old program, Or if it's even possible, Or what programs ya can do it in So it's not a very good tip ta give others I would like ta know how you determine the chances So far I've been usin that Random website, An just determining chances and rolling for the number, Say a mutation had a 10% chance a passing, Just passed based on 1-10 being rolled on the site from 1-100? Also your adoptables are so precious and I really look forward ta maybe being able to buy one from you sometime you have no idea ici 0 players like this post! Like? |

fodlflilf sorry I fell asleep ^^; shameless self promo, got a batch of newcomer flatsales up right now!! there’s still more than half left I think? they’re 300sb each if you don’t currently have one! you planning on making different layers for bases and markings, then mixing and matching?? I tried to do that but since I didn’t do that from the start it was pretty hard - colouring each design individually makes them much more unique as well. of course, it takes much more time but hey, all I’ve got is time meant for homework but wasted on art c; I do my adopts in Procreate on my iPad Pro + Apple Pencil, and when I started out I was pretty new to Procreate too. Now it’s simple and I’m very used to it! MediBang is a great option too for mobile or pc. And for chances - say it’s 10%, as you said. I just use wheeldecide, enter 1 yes and 9 no’s, spin the wheel, and see what it lands on. Easy. I use it for mutation chances and just think up the genetics for a kitten based on the mother and father’s genetics. And aww, thank you so much!! newcomer flatsales ayy c; c; 0 players like this post! Like? |

That's fine, I kinda did too after a tad ^^i Ooh, I'll go look then! I miss Procreate, It was my favourite drawing app I had on IOS I got Sai2 as a gift from a pal, They use it too so they've been teaching me how ta do a lot of the things on it Otherwise I'd be so lost, It's so different from the apps I used, An before that app I used GIMP ta make PSD bases No matter what, It was kinda difficult ta manage, Trying ta make bases with a finger never went well, And I don't know how well I'd do with the pen Wheeldecide, Then? That sounds like an easier time, Yeah, Thank you! I'm gonne scurry on over there ta check that yeah <u< 0 players like this post! Like? |

Procreate is great aaa I wouldn’t leave it (especially since it’s paid c;) I use Wheeldecide for pretty much all the things I need to randomly pick, and for bigger raffles Google’s number generator works perfectly fine. I also went from program to program but I’m stickin with Procreate! Just wished it had more features like animation and even more brush customising options >.< I’m glad to be of help! 0 players like this post! Like? |

I didn't want ta leave it, My iPad 2 broke, I mean it's a screen replacement but I never had the money ta fix it and I left it when I moved, And I haven't got one again, So pretty sad ta leave it That sounds pretty good, Thank ya, I'll look into wheeldecide, And I never actually thought of usin Google's number generator, Heh Yeah, That was one thing that wasn't the best for the app, But it was still great for its price, And easy once you're used ta it Thank you very much for all of your help! 0 players like this post!
