i think we should be able to assign a broodmother to watch over a deaf adult lion to reduce (or maybe even eliminate) the chance of death. here are some reasons why! 1. deafness being lethal seems a little too simple to me. what kind of lethal accidents could our lions possibly be avoiding using their sense of hearing alone that they wouldn't be able to avoid with their other senses, and which are also so common that ANY lion above the age of 3 wouldn't go without encountering them? it seems unrealistic. and not in the fun way, like snake demons. 2. pets will often help disabled pets navigate the house, so i don't see how it's at all unrealistic for a pridemate to stick close to a disabled lion to nudge them to attention in case of an approaching threat.. especially in this world, where lions can be kind to animals of prey species. which brings me to my third point. 3. lioden is a role-playing game, where we can choose our own story-- your lion can help a baby cheetah find its family, pose for humans' pictures, and even train beetles to be the very best. to say that there is absolutely nothing my king of the jungle could do to help a deaf lion live past the age of 3 seems-- well, like i said! too simple. if i had the option to devote one or more of my precious broodmother slots for as long as a deaf lion might live to keep it protected, that would contribute to the roleplaying aspects of the game by giving our kings another tough choice to make. maybe we could allow this for eyeless/blindness too, if there's more talk of making that more dangerous. thoughts? |

Support, this isn't like most lethals where there's nothing you can do without a doctor, and our lions can be kind and smart enough to help pride mates 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 13/06/18 @ 17:59:49 by Sam (#136947) |

I COMPLETELY support. I also find it dumb that deaf lions are lethal in the first place... if eyeless and blind lions can survive just fine (presumably with the help of pride members), deaf lions should def be able to survive too. 1 player likes this post! Like? |

Support- having Broodmothers care for 'adult lethal' lions that don't need insane human medical attention looks like a great and lore-friendly compromise- if you really want this mutie but don't want to Safou fruit it, sacrificing a Broodmother's care slot is very reasonable. Plus, it works with any pride lore, realism or not. 1 player likes this post! Like? |

Support for all the reasons previously stated. I also support the idea for blind and eyeless lions too! c: 0 players like this post! Like? |

100% support. I'd prefer it not to be lethal at all but this would likely be less likely to cause minor backlash 0 players like this post! Like? |
