There are two kinds of people; those who are great at saving currency, and those who are not.

I'll admit, when it comes to beetles I fall in the second category. It's a little hard for me to avoiding spending it if I see it, but at the same time I don't really have any particular goals I'm saving for. This often causes me to be in severe need of currency when I see something that peaks my interest.

Honestly I would call this a very lazy way to earn beetles compared to other ways here; I don't have any major breeding projects going on, so I have no reason to be spending a large amount often. This probably wouldn't work very well if you have high spending needs.

To start out with I keep a small pride, usually I don't have more than 20-30 lionesses at one time, I rarely keep cubs, and I don't keep more than 25 adols at once. I don't keep any pride on my side, besides the odd ncl I come across. This is my explore heavy king, I generally only use him to get event currency for the things I'm going to sell once the event ends. If you don't see yourself needing a side or are using yours as a storage, that's fine, you can still get currency with just a main. :)

There is only one thing I recommend having if you really want to have some sort of reliable source of sb: Feed All, Play All. It doesn't even have to be consistently month after month, when I first started playing here I would purchase it once every so often, if I felt like it. You can find it in the Oasis, for 5 gb. That may seem like a lot, but it's worth it.

What Feed All, Play All (FAPA) does is give you two things:

1.) Makes mass feeding from your den page possible, just select the carcass and feed your pride. This is useful if you keep large prides, since you don't have to go through your hoard or the lion page for feeding.

2.) Ineract with your pride via one button on your den page. This boosts them up to 100% mood, and doesn't use any amusement items when doing so. This is also useful for large prides, and is more or less very useful for when you need the odd 100-300 sb here and there.

FAPA is useful in this situation simply for the second feature. You don't have to use the amusement items you find while exploring to keep your pride happy, so you can just sell them to the Monkey Shop.

How you're feeding your pride is also important. There are different sized carcasses, some will feed your lions more than others, so it's worth finding a hunger level you're comfortable with your lions getting down to before you feed them again. Figure out what works for you, and stick with it. Personally, I like to let my girls get down to 60%, then feed them elephant calf carcasses until they're at full. This way, you're only feeding them once every few days.

This frees you up to do one of two things:
-spend minimal time hunting, and focus on exploring; or
-hunt every chance you get, and sell off the extra carcasses you're not using.

I usually do the second option, and try to run at least 5-7 hunts a day. If I have enough lionesses for a full hunting party in my side, I'll run hunts there too.

On a good day, if I run a full 10 hunts, that's 500-800sb in profit. If I'm running a full 10 hunts on my side and main, that's almost one gb a day. Frequently hunting can more or less pay for FAPA within a week or two, and you only need to buy it once a month.

Selling food and amusement items is more or less the only real "easy" way of finding silver beetles, and even then it takes a bit of work. If you have small spending habits this way of earning beetles works very well, but of course the bigger the goals you have, the more you're going to have to earn to spend. As with all things, the more work you put into it, the more you'll get out of it, so there's no real "get rich quick" scheme here.

To keep the beetles I earn, I make sure tobury them in a bundle in my hoard. I'll also budget myself out. I want to redesign my stud? I'll put all the sb I earn from stud requests away in bundles until I have enough to buy the appicators or lion I need. This works with other features that require sb like slots, raffles, contests.

There are a few other guides on here that go more in depth on how to earn currency, and I recommend you go check them out! This is just what works for me, so of course it may not work for you, but if it does, great! Good luck. :)

TL;DR

There is no "easy" way to earn silver beetles or gold beetles. All methods involve varying degrees of work. This is more or less a way to do it if you can't spend much time on the site.

Things that are helpful:
Feed All, Play All- use the play all, sell all your extra amusement items to the monkey shop.

Keep a small pride -less mouths to feed, more carcasses to sell to the monkey.

Hunt often - hunting gives you carcasses to sell.

This is very useful and I like it. Usually I keep my lions/lionesses at 20% Hunger, But I think 60% makes much more sense xP

Don't sell carcasses to the monkey. You can make more by selling them to other players.

I usually let my Lions get down to 40% because most carcasses unless to small will only take 1 use to get to 0% again. Playing with your lions very day is helpful I suggest waiting until your cubs are 5 months old then killing them off so you don't have to worry about your lionesses mood dropping. You can have 2 full hunting party's and run them through their hunts as much as possible. I suggest selling all small carcasses and skulls and play items when you can and save the more bigger carcasses until one of them reaches 1 day till rotting so you always have food. or just don't sell what you again at all and wait until week has finnished since you started horading your stuff your get then sell it in bulk I find you get more if you sell in bulk
