Duskstar has always tried to be a strong leader and does not show weakness in front of others, the only exception his his mate. The king would do anything to protect his pride, even give his own live. Duskstar loves and protects the pride like his own kin.

::*Backstory::
Duskstar was born in a litter of two, he was always very close with his sister Lightwing. The male lion was born to Sunstar and his mate Windpelt. From his birth Duskcub had been groomed to become the king one day, but still he never really saw himself as being able to become a leader. After his father's passing, he knew that that he had to step up, because the pride was counting on him. Duskstar is now a wise leader, who leads a great Pride of cats into the future.

::Description::
His body is 190 cm long and with his tail he measures only 260 cm. The king's pelt is a golden brown, with white sock running up on his hind legs. He inherited his mother's blue and his father's green eyes, Duskstar also inherited his father's imposing dark red mane. He has several scars littering his entire body from past battles, but his most notable wounds are on his hind left leg where he accidentally stepped into a snare trap.

Nightpath is a very illusive character who prefers solitude as opposed to the larger clans, he is extremely peaceful and optimistic - he intends to cause no harm to others and is an all-round asset to those who know him.

Backstory :
After finding mother and father strung up by poachers after the zoo's collapse, and his twin not in sight, Nightpath roamed away from his home for the fear of being caught by humans. Although it killed him to leave the safety of the thicket, he knew that leaving home would be the best thing to do.

His first adventure without his brother and the rest of his family was hard. Nightpath longed to hear a reassuring voice telling him that everything was going to be okay, but there was nobody to guide him.

Sooner or later, he came across SunPride and took up residence as a guard for the Pride. Yet later on became it's deputy from his loyalty.

Breezestar is a collected and composed feline with a patient nature and a welcoming disposition. She is generally soft-spoken and prefers to listen instead of talk. However, she always has an aura of authority, and when she has something to say, it is wise and worth listening to. The queen is thoughtful and tends to seek a quiet place to mull over things on her mind. She can have a sharp tongue, though she struggles to maintain any sort of anger against another, especially younger cats, as she is incredibly motherly and nurturing. Breezestar is moderately protective of her Pride-mates, but understands that most of them are accomplished warriors and capable of looking after themselves. The she-cat can oft be seen spending time in the nursery chatting with the den mothers and brood mothers and playing gently with the cubs, or even occasionally visiting the healer’s den to ask if anything is needed to be arranged for herb collecting expeditions. Although, she isn’t without her flaws, and she has a tendency to be rather spontaneous and abrupt in her movements and speech, and though she thinks things through carefully, sometimes she will overthink and struggle to come to a conclusion. Breezestar also can be prone to panic attacks when under extreme stress, in which her soothing, collected persona dissolves into a quivering, ragged, gasping mess. She hates when she breaks down, and will isolate herself in the event of one, which does nothing to help her recover from it.

The queen doesn’t have much sleep usually, needing poppy seeds occasionally to assist. She can find her mind drifting off-task quite frequently, though actively works to keep on track. This causes mounting stress and fear, as she often thinks that she is not good enough to be SunPride’s queen, and has a lot of secret self-doubt.

The snow leopard and cheetah hybrid could easily be mistaken for a genetically mutated leopard, with her thick fur, yet lithe, muscled figure. She has a pale cream base coat with white unders, adorned with large, silver-grey rosettes. At points, such as her legs, face and tail, the grey fades into a mousy brown. The markings, too, change, as the rosettes slowly taper off into cheetah-like spotting, save for her hind right leg. On her face, the rosettes become small, littering her forehead. Three more snow leopard-esque ones sit on each cheek, small curving triangles coming from the corners of her eyes and freckle-like oval spots dotting a crescent shape beneath her eye. In addition, she has an oddly heart-shaped rosette sitting underneath her right eye triangle marking. The tips of her ears are thickly dipped in onyx, fading into a white wash on the top of her cranium, cheetah tear marks running from her eyes to the top of her mouth. Her plumed tail has the tip, much like her ears, dipped in brown, snow leopard rectangular shapes patterning up it. Breezestar has a brilliant mint green gaze, fierce and bright, and an ebony nose with a stripe of dark pink in the middle. However, she also has some scars, one being a shallow, thin cut in a lazy arch over her right eye, another being scratches down her left shoulder, and the last being a trio of claw marks down her hind right leg.

::*Backstory::
Breezestar was born in SunPride shortly after Duskstar. Her mother, however, passed away during kitting, and Breezecub’s sister, who she secretly thought would have been named ‘Swiftcub’ didn’t survive long. She was left to be cared for by the other den mothers and brood mothers, passed from one to another to feed. Frostbite, her father, adored her and loved to visit her to entertain her, knowing she could be rather lonely. Once, she snuck out alone, but, hearing an ominous scrunching that seemed to follow her, blundered into a bramble patch, earning her the scar on her head and the ones on her neck and shoulder. Luckily, it turned out to be Frostbite, searching for her, who took her back to camp to be treated. Other than her rough start, Breezecub’s youth wasn’t all that interesting nor eventful.

At the time, she was one of the youngest cubs in the nursery, causing her to be left behind when her den-mates became apprentices. She had to wait a coupe more moons to rejoin them, and when she finally became Breezepaw, she was indeed overjoyed. The apprentice soon grew close with Duskpaw, and towards the end of her apprenticeship, began to realise that she had a small crush on the liger tom. However, she suppressed the feeling, not wanting to ruin their friendship by admitting it to him.

Breezepaw trained hard and did well, soon earning her warrior name, again after most of her other friends. She was then known as Breezewhisper, for her soft-spoken personality and excellent stalking capabilities, utilising both the ground and the trees. It was during her warrior life that she felt truly cemented in her feelings for Dusksky. After some time, she finally worked up the courage to bring it up, and to her surprise, her affection was reciprocated. They then became mates, and shortly after Dusksky became deputy under his father.

It was a tragedy when Sunstar and Lightstar passed, and Breezewhisper consoled her mate to the best of her abilities, understanding his grief all too well, as her father, too, joined StarPride to be with her mother and sister. Though, she wore her new name, Breezestar, with pride, serving the pride alongside her beloved mate, Duskstar.

Rather soft-spoken, Shadepetal in an undeniably affable feline. He is a good listener, understanding and considerate of others. However, as a result of this, he tends to neglect himself and his own feelings, keeping them trapped inside him. A caring streak runs thick through him, due to both his nature and rank. With close friends, Shadepetal can be playful and teasing, enjoying a gentle tussle every so often, despite his lither, smaller stature.

A thin, light-weight feline with a dark, mysterious base coat, dark grey flecked with faint silver. Golden stripes streaks his pelt, dashing lighter colour into his shaded fur. Heavy mottled rosette, reminisce of his leopard heritage, splatters his hide, the dark hues bringing out his dawn orbs. Optics of azure, fading into a soft pastel purple and then peach hold a gentle demeanour and caring nature.

::*Backstory::
Shadepetal was conceived and born in the zoo through a hybrid breeding program with the name Moed, however when Beskemer’s cubs were fairly young, they were released into a place without confines. Their father, Slick, was utterly disinterested in his cubs, having grown up in a solitary environment. He soon wandered off, only to be slaughtered in a fight against an aggressive lion over a kill the maned beast had felled. Beskemer, unable to adequately provide for her cubs, having little hunting experience, quickly joined SunPride. Learning how to hunt with help from other big cats with more developed instincts and experience, Beskemer became a decent hunter, changing her own name and those of her cubs to Deerstep, Shadecub and Sparrowcub, and soon slipped into routine, glad to be in a social environment which pleased her instincts for company. Her cubs, Shadecub and Sparrowcub, influenced by their leopard heritage, were sometimes more antisocial and defensive, causing them to grow distant with their mother. She later retired to the elders den due to old age.

As the siblings aged, they began to reveal their differences. Sparrowpaw was a more aggressive character, whilst Shadepaw preferred to stay neutral and assist where needed. Due to this, Sparrowjaw became a huntress and Shadepetal pursued the healer’s path. At times, he has been teased for his more feminine name, though he wears it with pride.

Despite his abnormal size and obvious lacking in ability, Glowpaw doesn’t allow this fact to dampen his spirits. Quite the opposite- he is generally a happy-go-lucky, optimistic guy! When faced with any sort of simple compliment, he becomes a stammering, blushing mess. Don’t even get me started on his reaction to flirtatious advances. He is easily swayed, and is sweet and generous in nature. Perhaps too sweet. However, if you lay a claw on his friends, he will not hesitate to threaten you, although he may not be the most intimidating, Glowpaw will tell you all about how he will find ways to poison your food or rip your pelt off your behind. He is protective and loyal to those that earn his trust (which isn’t terribly hard to gain) and is shy unless in the company of a more boisterous feline. Glowpaw is generally playful and joyous, prepared to bring comic relief in a tense situation. It helps him forget his disadvantages and the bullying he has experienced in the past. His friends being happy, makes him happy.

Suffering from dwarfism, Glowpaw has a significant disadvantage in comparison to his peers. He is a blonde-fawn colour, with slight reddish hued patches. His limbs become progressively darker until they are dark grey, with cream running down the back and coating his toes, along with his underbelly neck and muzzle. Brown-red leopard-like dappling drapes regally over his hide, referring to his ancestry. His features are once again cream with lilac-grey colouring beneath his eyes, on his forehead in a vaguely 'm' like shape and a triangle on the top of his muzzle, meeting his pink nose. Red ears flick, accented with cream splotches in the middle of each. Finally, intense orchid purple eyes like polished amethyst are set, round and innocent, in his cranium, finishing off his petite, youthful appearance.

::*Backstory::
Parents included in those released, Glowpaw never knew his father, due to his parents separating shortly after mating. His father, being a puma, was antisocial and a loner, so didn’t interact with his offspring. Glowpaw was born to a rare litter of one, however after his mother neglected and nipped at him, the cub wandered off, malnourished and skittish, barely weaned. Being found by an elderly leopard, she took him in, feeding him herbs to take the edge off his hunger. They soon joined SunPride. The leopard, Kit, who had become his guardian, named him Glow. The name inspired her because of his bright attitude, despite all he had been through. Upon joining SunPride, he became Glowpaw. Unfortunately, in SunPride, Glowpaw was teased and harassed for his petite stature, until Kit found out, the old, wizened female putting the bullies back in their places promptly and swiftly.

However, due to old age, Kit passed away. Glowpaw grieved for many days, moping and refusing to eat. After he had recovered somewhat, he braved on, knowing Kit would’ve wanted him to thrive after all she did for him. Sometimes, though, Glowpaw can’t help but be washed away by the relapsing sorrow, drowning in solitude, fighting through the dark waves, before dragging himself back to shore, shaking himself off and forcing a cheery smile on his muzzle.

CottonPaw is a snow white tiger - her stripes non-existant. Her shoulders are strong and large, framing her muscular chest with a sure balance. Her face is wide, yet kind, her blue eyes giving her a surprisingly warm gaze. Her paws are large, with black claws protruding for sureness in her step.

FangPaw is a bright orange Tiger with strikingly dark black stripes that streak across her body. She has a naturally long tail and large, strong paws. Her eyes are a breathtaking yellow that create a piercing gaze when the soul behind them has been aggravated. Her legs are long - for a Tiger - and they make her look a bit more elegant and feminine than her breed usually entails.

Nobody knows of the old tigresses passed, before she was found by Sunstar. She was a warrior of Ivypride, until one day they disappeared, without a single trace. Sunpride, being the closest to Ivypride, were the first to discover this. Sunpride spent many days looking for any remaining members of Ivypride, then one day one was discovered. Huddled under a bush, Sunstar himself discovered the young warrior. The tigress has never uttered a single word, not about what had happened to her pride or anything ever. She now still lives with Sunpride, as an elder, still having never spoken a single word.

Bluetooth is a friendly and laid-back lioness. She often plays with cubs and loves helping apprentices learn. She is very imaginative, often making up stories on the go to keep young cubs entertained. She often jokes that she is an honorary elder due to her love of telling stories. Her humour has brought her far in her life, and she loves making new friends, be it from Sunpride or not. She would rather avoid fights, but is not afraid to pick one if anyone dear to her is hurt.

~Backstory~
Bluetooth was born to a couple of lions just learning about Sunpride. They had lived outside a pride's territory for a while, and only heard stories of them. When her mother and father figured out the pride was real, they requested for them to take Bluecub. Her mother was reluctant to join, she was afraid of fighting too much, and her father simply wanted to be a leader of his own. The two had not intended to only have one cub, and had decided she would be better off with a pride rather than two lone lions looking to start their own. Her parents abandoning her had no big affect on Bluecub, as she was happy to get an even bigger family to play with. Her apprentice years were spent doing mischievous pranks that she would blame on someone else. She calmed down a little when she became a warrior, but still has a small love for pranking to this day.

When he was younger, Dapplepaw(then Echo) was very talkative and would often play fight with his brother and sisters. However, after their parents died he became more reserved and would disappear without notice. He retained his disappearing habit even after he came to Sunpride. He finds himself possessive over things that are his, as well as jealous when someone has something he wants. Despite his claws and fangs, he can become quite friendly with creatures he likes. He prefers to be friendly, but is wary of strangers.

~Backstory~
Born Echo, Dapplepaw lived as a rogue with his family for a couple of moons. Once he was weaned, and his mother was teaching him and his siblings how to hunt, his parents were killed. They were trampled by a pack of oxen. Him and his siblings were able to survive thanks to being far away. He got split up from his siblings after Jet and Hope were killed, stumbling into Sunpride territory a few days later. He pleaded to be let in, telling what had happened to his family. He was old enough to be an apprentice by the time he came, and requested to be a healer apprentice. He was sure that if he had known how to heal back when his parents were alive, they would not have been killed by the oxen. He did not want anyone else to suffer a slow and painful death like his parents had.
