Just as thought, prices for DU continue to drop with people canceling the trade and lowering the price. This nerf was foolish, I think DU's are gonna end up getting even cheaper. They've already hit what they were before the update and still not selling as quickly.

They were useful for harder breeding projects. For example I was planning on breeding a special set of markings on a DU and breed that to a sidereal stud. Now it would be abnormally expensive to make, so I'll use normal lionesses as before. I'm sure a lot of people had similar plans with their DUs. Now they don't really have a meaningful use, so I can see why everyone tries to sell theirs.

To be honest I haven't even thought that they would fall back to their pre-nerf price so quickly, but it makes sense. I personally wouldn't pay more than 10gb for one (if that) with these changes.

I'd probably pay 20 tops, but indeed it has been, what.. 4 days since they messed with its pass rates to make them more "rare" and "valuable".... well now they're just back where they were lol

Basically the change made a sharp drop in the demand for dus, however the supply is still the same, only with many many months of time will the supply of dus possibly take a hit because many have died. The fact the prices of dus sky rocketed to over 100 gb, and now are going back down to 40 so quickly, means that the price of dus will most likely continue to drop. Many people who had them or planned in buying them don't want them anymore. A friend and I had a project planned with dus, but with the change we've not only cancelled it but they've also quit lioden shortly after joining. Changes like these don't leave good first impressions.

You see what I’m talking bout they basically causing more people to leave because of last Friday’s update if they could have changed it to at least 15% pass rate for kimajano & DU then people could at least stay & not leave Lioden but nope I guess more & more people are gonna leave the site cause of this

I almost was mad enough to leave cause i been here a few years, got back a couple months ago, then DU came out and i was so stoked... then they did this and i was so confused as to why they'd undercut DU so severely with this update, and now I'm upset cause i worked hard to get mine. Of course they ain't selling as wildly, it'd be too expensive breed another one.

100% support. It's just bias imo. Either nerf all the mutation pass chances or don't touch them at all. There weren't even 1000 in the game when the nerf happened. Maybe if they bumped the chances of getting 2-4 cubs people wouldn't be as obsessed with DU. But with DUs you not only had a mutation (which is rare in and of itself), but a way to break the 1 cub curse. Plus, if you were say, a mutation breeder for a clan whose goal is to breed mutations for those unlucky people who can't seem to get one, you're kind of punishing them for being kind imo.

@Bunny it's supposed to be rare, but not rarer than a leopon. You only need a buffalo scrotum to breed a pon. You need a buffalo scrotum and a lion scrotum to breed a DU. It's ridiculous.
