So, in light of this honestly ridiculous news, I'm making this suggestion. The pass rate for DUs being 5% is far, FAR too low.I vote we bump it up to 15%. I feel this is a happy medium between 5 and 25. |

That’s not entirely true. Leopons don’t just always appear in a Litter after using Buffy Balls. It’s a lot more than that. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I bred 3 DU's today and a friend bred 2 all with lion scrotums and neither of us had any DU's born. 32 cubs and no DU's. It's ridiculous. If the mutation requires a lion scrotum to pass, the percentage should be adjusted. As it is now, it's extremely expensive and frustrating. I don't think it's what any DU breeders had in mind when they got into DU breeding :/ Feels like having the rug pulled out from under you. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I have to say, the nerfing of DUs is probably the most frustrating thing that's ever happened to me on Lioden. When they first came out, I immediately fell in love with the idea of having one. I finally managed to snag one for a REALLY decent price at the height of their popularity, and I was seriously overjoyed. Then, I had the thought to give breeding DUs for myself a try. I suddenly got super excited at the prospect of being able to breed one or two every month or two months, and getting some funds from selling them (minus the one or two I'd keep for myself for projects). I got to breed my DU lady ONCE. One time, and I didn't even have all of the items to optimize my chances. Thankfully I managed to get one anyway, but the nerf came out like a week later, and now it's extremely hard to sell her. I have an auction up that thankfully one or two people have shown interest in, but advertising on the sales chat for three days straight has gotten nothing. I'm just kinda bummed that my one way of making reliable funds, aside from my writing shop, is pretty much gone now. I don't mean to say that anyone who likes the changes is wrong, of course; I'm just saying that for me, personally, it really sucks. I don't want to make DUs super expensive or take advantage of the market or anything like that!! I just want to be able to sell some of my lions that are valuable for some decent change to support my projects and my love of art. Ahh well ;; I hope they can either change it back, or find a decent middle ground to make the majority of people happy. 0 players like this post! Like? |
