when i'm exploring, i get excited when i am told there's a lioness nearby! only to go to claim her, and notice how bland she is. i almost never plan on keeping my ncls. well yes, there is the possibility of finding a chased lioness; but it is incredibly rare because you get nothing in return when you chase them! players would much rather sell, kill, or send their lions to nature preserves because there are rewards, like karma, sb, and other items or lions. well i think this should change!

every day, there is some text below the option to chase a lioness. it tells you what the special traits are for that day, such as mane color/type, base, skin, markings, etc. if you chase a lioness with one of the special traits for that day, you get a reward! you will either get exp, imp, or sb. depending on what trait(s) the lioness had, you will get a different amount of the reward. this would NOT stop users from using the preserve/kill option, because you cannot get karma as a reward from chasing your lioness, so people would still be using those options if they wanted to receive karma instead.

i believe this would help with problems in the market - one benefit is way less fodders clogging up the pages, as players wouldn't want to sell a very cheap lion with a small chance of being bought when they can just get guaranteed rewards by chasing them. therefore, only good, wanted lions are in the market for players to buy!

this idea can also help new players! when i first started, i was a little jealous that everyone else's lions were so much prettier. i couldn't afford nice lions from the tc, so all i had were my ncls with one or two markings. but if these chased lionesses were far more common, it would give new players a chance of some prettier lionesses that they may actually enjoy having in their dens!

of course, ncls would still be popping up! this does not at all replace the game-generated ncls that have a little more of a simple look to them.

if you decide to not support, please let me know why:)

Support, because we need people to chase more lionesses -- and I don't even mean NCLs, I mean pretty lionesses. Chased/heritageless lionesses are invaluable for people playing Hard Mode (as I do on my side) and people trying to keep their lines clean, and they're hard to come by with decent marks. I think giving a small reward would be helpful -- think of the Murder Stone, small rewards would encourage people to chase more lionesses. It should be very small rewards (ex. 20 SB, 2% impression, or 100 EXP) and probably a limit on how many you can chase for a reward each day. (You would still be able to chase as many as you like, just not get rewarded for all of them.) It would motivate people to maybe raise their cubs/adols to adulthood, and also help with the lion market since it would cut down on the supply a bit.

I think this could help a lot! Plus it could be fun and more worth claiming all of the girls you find exploring.

There are a lot of things this idea COULD add if it was implemented.

Yes, this is great. I’ve completely stopped trying to claim lionesses, because they are all NCL’s

No support.
The reason why killing/reserving gives rewards (karma) is that it takes energy. Chasing NCLs take nothing. Also, many people buy the in-heat NCLs for mass breeding purposes. It would cause a spike in NCL prices since people would be buying them just to chase.

I'm sorta iffy on this. The reason chasing doesn't give rewards is because it's free to do. It's an easy way to get rid of lions without having to wait to maybe be able to sell them or spend energy to kill/reserve them. Since space is limited, tons of lions have to be killed/reserved/chased, and I feel like most people do chase their not so sellable lions- since killing/reserving costs energy and unless you're going for leaderboards the karma isn't all that useful.

The existence of a free 'go away' option is useful, and I wouldn't want to see it become not-free. However, a system that makes chasing profitable would be easily abused if there were no costs to offset that. As-is, claiming itself is easily abused to speed-boost impression and stats, but it is offset by the cost of needing space to hold the lions for an hour. Killing/reserving is offset by the energy cost. What would limit chasing? I can't think of anything except to have a per-player limit to how many lions you can get a bonus for chasing per day, or something like that?

Additionally, to make that chance of finding a chased more useful, maybe remove lions from that pool that don't meet certain conditions? I chase tons of normal NCLs every day. I can't be the only one that claims constantly. So people might be getting 'chased' girls that are normal NCLs that have been claimed and then chased out. Maybe code something to remove those NCLs from counting as chased girls?
