I'm alright with getting a breeding item, or maybe 150 bones, but a max of 50 bones? A UAV? A human liver? Nah. I'm probably not going to see the stranger, but if I Do, and I get a UAV from that encounter? I'm gonna be pissed.

I don't mind him having a roulette of a FEW things, and things that are worthwhile (150 bones are half a GoP, or 1/4 of a Buff Ball), but the fact there's SO MANY items, and the fact the app and breeding item are the least likely? That's unfair to everyone. We don't need to be given a human liver, if we ever see the encounter at all.

Support. It's not that the encounter is so rare that's the issue for me, there are 2 Solaris kings right now and about 5 apps in the catalog. Rare is cool, but what I don't think is cool are the 'trash' prizes like the Broken Drone and UAV like you mention. It would be such a slap in the face to finally encounter the Mysterious Stranger and be given crap like that.

Please. I'm so exhausted by hunting for it. I want hunting for Solaris to be worth it, because it's proving not to be worth it as this point. I've already spent thousands of sb on hyena butters, I want my investment to count for something, it's literally going to destroy me if I find the encounter and get a human liver or a handful of Dry Bones...

Even though this is the last day, I support this and wish they'd done this. Why? Because I just got the encounter a minute ago and was SO excited, I sent it to my friends and everything. Then I press that button and what do I get? A goddamn UAV. It should be a Solaris app, it just isn't fair that people can search for so long only to get a trash reward like that.

(No offense, but Im feeling argumentative today, so Ill speak my mind as my feelings are in charge today)

They introduced the Interstellar quest to create "Balance"...but the cost of what it takes to actually get the app, you might as well buy it. Good luck getting 500 herbs or giving up 500 toy uses cheaply. I imagine some people will be working toward it for a very long time. Good thing it has no time limit. Its supposed to be hard. I know. But there is hard, and then there is......really? Might as well buy it. (Kind of reminds me of people on game shows subjected to humiliations to get a new car when just saving and buying one is actually more logical)

They mentioned vaguely that they may take the Solaris app and make it a one time quest too.

Its kind of a clique thing in the game these days to make things so rare that only a few get it and charge huge amounts of money for resulting dice rolls,...I mean, breedings or selling of the item. Ive seen some players who always seem to have high stat kings, super rare bases and marks repeatedly argue hard against aleaviating rarity for their own interests. Seems like political lobbying to me. A few people argue that rarity is important, some say its not, but in the end the owners choose. If it generates more money for the site, why not make it rare? Someone is spending the money on it.

Im not saying things should be easy, but it is a sour note to an old song. Games move that way, making things more money based to skip difficulty. It wont change. Lioden is subject to the same dance.

What sticks in my craw is a lot of people arguing FOR base rarity and certain genetics changes or site suggestions, dont seem to play regularly. They take long hiatuses, sometimes for WEEKS, then come back and argue for changes, which somehow get made, but the vast majority of players actually logging in regularly, every day, actually actively playing the game, seem to be ignored. The regular player is the one who daily deals with certain aspects of the game, its the absent ones who seem to implement the major changes..... Color me confused with that one.
